This was obviously a joke, wich most of us would understand. Also, I never said it was instant, its'approx 24 hours.
A: A character must meet these requirements in order to be eligible for the service:
level 85 or higher on their main class
completed the Awakening class transfer on their main class
not a Hero from Olympiad
has not used this service before

well, i read the awaken service and it dosent say anything about having to be offline or online..
(name and gender change requires u to be offline)
you can however play like normal as u have to visit an npc to reawaken, when they have done whatever they need to do so im not sure what they really do for that price..
I'm guessing that they fell seriously behind due to the problems they had with the name change service stripping characters. They are probably being very careful now too which is a good thing but takes time :)

I did it and it took all of 30 mins. You must have the item in inventory. send a request to support and wait. when it's processed you'll get disconnected from server so log back in and talk to the fate NPC and pick what you want to be and DONE. It does tell you this could take up to 24 ESTIMATED. They didn't tell you for sure. watch your emails cause those will also tell you where in the process you are.
they said at the start of the week they are new to doing these changes and can take longer read weekly News & Announcements section of the forums more often!
As of May 23, three account services are now available through the L2 Store and L2 Galleria. You can now enjoy a character Name Change, Gender Change, or an Awakening Class Change service.

These account services are here to stay, and others will be added in the future. However, these three services are currently processed manually and will eventually become mostly automated.
As these are manual processes (direct human resource involvement) we aim for a processing time of 24 hours, however as this is only the first week doing this, please understand there may be some delays as the processing method is optimized.
Each of the account services has some rules and important restrictions--especially the Awakening Class Change service-- so please be careful to read the full details about a service before purchasing it!

I remember when they first introduced account services. It was a bit buggy but it smoothed out. It smoothed out to where at most you had to wait 8 days to get your service if you didn't get your order in 2 days before maintence. I can understand the "Stone of Destiny" can be worked out, that is an item that can be put in a persons, inventory instantly like any other item you order. But you kids better stop hassling NCSoft about name changes, gender changes, and subclass to main changes. That is not an item, that is a direct change to the account.
NCSoft, Let these brats have their stones, it's easy. Just drop the item into their Dimentional Merch or inventory.
Kids, stop whineing about the account changes. it's a work in progress that they should have kept as a weekly thing, not instant.

No, it's their problem, I think they don't work on the weekends. I've updated it twice and nothing, I will keep my char online until they change it, hopefully it wont take another 30h
I think it should be something coded to do automatically, involving GMs only makes the process way longer.
From the moment I bought the L2 store item, to getting the first handwritten responce, was 18 minutes. My char was processed after another 40 minutes or thereabouts.
Just so you know it's a holiday weekend in the United States. Monday is Memorial Day and most business do not work that day thus probably including NCSoft.
