A few days ago my account has been accessed from some hacker.
Some of my items has been stolen and some adena, but no too much, about 40kk.
Itens:
Baium +4
Ant Queen +6
Frintezza +3
And some adena,
I contacted the staff members opening a ticket.
Then i realized that some adena is missing too.
My first contact was with Larry he tells me he was on process of investigating.
Then on a second ticket, GM Arc "escalated" my ticket to GM Sparce.
Finally he tells me they will not give my items back.
In the end of story i lost my items and NO ONE has been punished, except me, i got one point becose i published the awesome conversation between me and staff.
This is not a surprise, in a server FULL of bots in the face of any one.
Where they cant tells anything about the "investigation" and to complete do nothing about.
It's true, rarely do you get your items back. They'll compensate you with proofs that you can trade in for R gear if you are 85+ or give you the gear that you get from path to awakening, meaning if you are 80+ you'll get the vesper items with a 90 day timer as replacement most likely.

Well whatever game support gives you is better than having nothing at all. I'd use it and try to work on trying to get replacement stuff. I know that's easier said than done. I can't say for certain what game support will do for you,but this has been the solution in the past and it's not a very fair one at all.

Looks like they only took a few things and some Adena, not everything. With help from friends and clan, you should be back to normal soon.

In the first time playing on a original server this happens, i am running
Kaspersky Internet Security up to date, cant understand how this happened.
Now i formatted my pc, re-installed everything, changed my pass and token, but even doing this cant feel secure to play any more, becose if happened one time can happen again.
And if my clan mates help me and i got hacked again???

That's because there is no real RMT on private servers to speak of. Most people who are hacked are so that they can sell your junk and then sell the adena.

You're new here,but I'll fill you in. It's been this way for years. Not saying it's right, just the way it is. The game is free and since then it's been worse than ever because to NC they'll give you what they seem is fair because technically you could be saying you had these things and you actually never did. I can't say what you had,but I"m just telling you from their perspective.

Perhaps when you installed the "3rd party program" to use on the private server, this had a keylogger/packetsniffer/other "bad function" ready and waiting for when you went to retail L2??
I got hacked for my full account. i was playing and someone else logged in.
they had changed the password and everything. (My mail got hacked).
i provided the admins with screenshots from 2-3 years back and resent pics of me playing the toon in question but they didnt do anything.
the hacker moved my gear from my toon and had it in a shop for a few days and i notified the admins about it but NOTHING happend.
in the end they banned the toon and i lost everything.

(this was in like november or something. pretty close to GoD launch)

PS: Also ppl with like 100kk Adena in Gear etc and their alt account mostly won't bother to post here if it get hacked

+1, the lol nubs that go around using these programs forget these are malicious tools.

In any case, if your account gets stolen there are a number of reasons, e.g., you have a trojan recording your password and the character pass, you shared your account data and you don't remember you did, you fell for a pishing attempt where they imitate an official site asking for you pin & password, you use 3rd party software which takes your password. Improbable, but not impossible, they guessed your pass AND character pin correctly. You use the same password on a private server and they guess your character PIN. Can they try PINs endlessly?
The 'hacker' had mercy on you and didn't steal you empty. Are you sure you didn't share your account data with a 'friend'? Because why would a hacker leave you anything? Most people are naked when this happens. This hacker left you enough adena to buy full tw.

Not me, but ok maybe I don't play 24x7 or I don't know how to make adena. The OP though is on this forum since december 2011 and he has 3 epics overenchanted 2 of them, full tw and within days he manages to get full tw back (or the hacker left his armor?) which still is worth 800kk+ (this is rather low prob). He indicates that he plays this game from f2p, so he is not an old player. Call me cynical, but it smells. But I'll assume he is a super good player in a top clan, until proven the opposite.
Ive played since C3. My best gear is Freya, Morai leather some element and Vesper Caster+3 175 wind (I squeee'd when I could finally afford it from the AH 1 month ago) I have several awakened toons using PoA gear. I've never been hacked in all of these years.
To me, having a billion adena to spend on epics and gear is still unheard of. But with advent of people selling their accounts to other people now with no penalty, I wouldn't doubt there would be hacking. NCSoft isn't going to do anything if it isn't their fault. Just look at the lag issues. You say it's their server and they say it's your ISP. Everything working as intended. Going to F2P cut their costs down in manpower or even just shifted it to other deptments.

Cutting costs means making more money.Since it's F2P, there is less need to keep up in the billing part of the game, so they pocket the money for further R/D for ideas on how to make money from people who play the game. Dracha is correct. F2p business model is becoming the standard. I get game informer magazine and they had an article about this and in game stores. The article even stated that this practice is popular and here to stay.
There is still a department for payments because of the L2 store. Someone has to manage it.

impossible get **** on this game without cheat ak 3rd party programs, or play on cyber cafe what is very low case :P master acc can have a password, game other, security questions, most important "pin"
Maybe a vendictive family or friend who also knows the game. Most people are just lazy and use common passwords and usernames. Phishing emails (do people even use emails anymore?). You know another avenue for getting into accounts is Facebook. All you need at most to reset an account is the name,location and a birthday. Don't display too much info on fb
ABSOLUTELY do NOT post sensitive info on facebook. Most challenge questions to the most important accounts (bank, cc, phone) is available on a person's facebook page. What highschool did you go to? Mother's maiden name? Father's middle name? Highschool Mascot ffs. It's a hackers info playground. Yeah I have a facebook but I do my best to keep my info do a minimal.

I have one friend who really had this problem, and the staff gave all his stuff back, COS HE REALLY HAD THE ITENS.
if staff say that they ll do nothing for u, thats because u dont had anything, U are/is just a bs brazilian/private player who thinks that nc staff cant investigate/see what u had or have on ur acc, this must have worked with PRIVATE SERVERS STAFF, cos they do not know nothing. but this ll not work here.
ps: no one steal some stuff from any acc. they get everthing.

I don't list my phone number,my parents name,where I am from,my email or b-day. I keep my FB private also because I have game accounts and like we said it's the most vulnerable place to get information and reset your account and take your stuff. Anyone who liked a game you liked on FB can easily stalk your page and gather information.
