Someone on Chronos is spreading rumors that Mentee Certs will be character locked after the Tauti update. I read the patch notes on the Korean website (yay being Korean) and found they've fixed two bugs related to Mentee certificates. 1st involving Mentee buffs in Olympiad and second being related to character creation.
Nothing explicitly says that the Mentee certificates will be character bound. Reason being is because by design, the certs were to be account exchangeable so that old players would return and play L2 again.
I don't understand why people are spreading these rumors and people are believing them. Yes the removal of TW is a pretty big change to the PvP system, but to believe any little bit of nonsense that people spout? Please. >.>

People are just being cautious because they want to be ready for a wednesday afternoon when they realize "no more free R-shots".
I'll have to check the Glory Days patch notes. I don't see anything on the Tauti update regarding this.
You won't find anything, because it's not the same system in Korea (where the item is bound to character and you can't take it with an other toon) than here

R-shots are very expensive and gain legally adena is little harder.
New players on server could have problem with get better equip - less adena = crap equip.
Example - Kartia 85. Newbie players w/o resists died from Zellaka many times and they cry.

There's nothing hard about leveling toons. Free R shots and tons of adena (before they snuffed the quest rewards); it's called being smart.
But no one will stop you if you want to pay for it. In fact you should keep paying NC the monthly fee to play L2.

If I were in a position in the game I could make 50 million adena per hour, yeah I would just buy the shots. But I haven't seen money falling from the sky at that rate yet.

Actually if you like the game you should support it some what every month. I wouldn't say buy shots,but other things might be worth it to show some support if you are able to.
I spend $25 a month unless there is something I really want. I went over my limit for a re- awakening service and I'm a lot happier with it now :)

I am in agreement that people should support the game :cool: (It'll definitely add more weight to the voices of NCWest, as the saying goes: "Money talks")

lol yes yes, unfortunately, the amount NC is generating from NA compared KR is pocket change. If NA+EU market was generating as much as KR then it's a different story.
