Light Armor Mastery Remove in Tauti !

What about all these who use Light Armor and how will be useless without the
Light armor mastery ? You should do something so healers//summoners will be able to give their old light armor for the robe set !

Why would u use light set on healer anywayz ??
second healer gets great buffs like the unison being stronger
and fairy of life doing more heals

these buffs sure does compensate for ur ''loss''

IF a healer had the Light armor Mastery after awaking he could get ALL the great effects of Light armor and a bonus of 91% Cast Speed !!

Well, -91% Cast speed doesnt sound fair to me (even im not healer ;p)

After Harmony update, you get it again if you awaken an healer

My healer still has light armor mastery. 1999 cast speed with knight harmony.

The awakening system was mean to all players to get the same skilss. And in glory days all the old skills will be removed after u awake.. in tauti as by far its just healers.

I created my healer just days after that patch so that's how I get to keep it.

The sad thing is that the light armor part of the Superior Armor Mastery on awakened healer is totally bugged. You're supposed to get a good mdef boost and some pdef/mp regen/hp regen according to the skill description. Guess what, you get none of those except for the pdef.

But hey on a second thought who cares, everyone wears heavy armor anyways. ;) On my elf healer, with no WIT dye, I'm on 1500 casting speed without the 95 lvl toggle too ^^

According to Ferine, that's because that boost is applied regardless if you wear robe or light armor. This is the bugged part.

Hmm since we can't really log in and check at the moment, I guess I'll have to take his word for it xD But to be honest after taking a few 18k criticals on robe (in pvp) I would still go for heavy, it's addictive :D

I tried with a Moirai LA set and Immo robe set, the mdef is the same.

mmmmm in glory days robe will give around 4,6k HP more so I'm thinking... cause i always like to make good setups for my chars, i think, i think... what if my healer uses HP weapon and +15 con, how much HP would she have?

I have like 20k atm with only +9 con and dual S with light armor at lvl 88.

it's already in the tauti update we got today - ~4260 hp more when wearing a robe on healer

i have old LA mastery also, maybe thats happen when u have that skill +power?
btw in description of awaken skill we have now +4299 hp and +300 m def - 0 info about it in patch notes.

i just want to know which set should i craft, because 2 days ago i give seraph leather leggins to my friend after reading PN of this forum...

why u use hvy? u have +wit dye? only in light u may get +91% cst spd if u have old LA mastery, and if not - leather is better anyway IMO because of -10% to mp consumption

I use hvy because robe armor sucks, I am 1 shot, I feel too weak. I am healer, so I should be strongest, the last one standing in party (that's the theory). So with hvy i can stay alive (pvp and pve) and my casting speed is good enough. Now, after Tauti updates, I wondering if this concept changes. Maybe is better light armor or robe armor because of passive skills, but i still seeing aeores with hvy armor... so that's why i am made a mess.

Mm no. You wanna be the last one standing, but on a pvp POV you are not suposed to be standing alive as the last character, or the other party is doing something wrong.

Ppl who are one shotted usually have forgotten to element their gear.

Or are 5 or more lvls lower than the attacker.

Or think that boss jewels from years ago still give good mdef (they dont)

I understand u, but my point is if i have my inmo robe +4 and full element, why i am i shot in pve? (sometimes 2 shots). Because of that, i am using inmo heavy +3 but no element, and now i can go farm without fear cause im not 1 or 2 shot.
So, im wondering if with tw set i have the same problem now or not :/

Are you one shot by all mobs in pve?

Or are we talking lvl 85 healer vs SOA group mobs?

Or the exploding mob in Swampland?

I had my armor full when i was 87 and im talking about soa or zeillaka rb (even in harnak i think) after that i change my armor for hvy and now i don't have any problem with that.
I'm not the only aeore wearing hvy armor and i've read some same opinions. But after Tauti, maybe it's me, but i see more aeore with tw robe than before.

With full attributes on all armor even with robes you shouldn't be getting 1/2 shotted by mops in SOA especially when your a healer and can heal yourself...

Im not saying i die all the time, im just feel weak in a robe armor. So, thank you for your answer cause are very useful for me. I'll keep asking and thinking about that :)

We've got only a partial ninja patch for robes with Tauti, in Glory Days also the pdef of robe armors has been boosted, nevertheless, i'll go heavy, when i'll reach R95
