Tauti Launch Kickoff

In celebration of the Tauti launch, NCsoft West staff will be logging in to the servers to showcase the new Tauti raid boss, chat with players, and give buffs! The Tauti raid boss will remain on display in Gludin Village until next week's maintenance on June 20, 2012.

When the Tauti update goes live on June 13, 2012 we will visit the servers for one hour each, roughly following this schedule:

Players will receive the following 1-Hour GM buffs:


All Five Iss Enchanter Melody Buffs
All Three Sonatas
Warrior's Harmony
Mental Protection, Divine Protection, and Elemental Protection
Blessing of Noblesse
Bard's Blessing (New GM Buff)

Due to time constraints Vitality, Wizard's Harmony, and Knight's Harmony will not be given. (Although Vitality was refilled just before in the server maintenance!) Please refrain from asking for these buffs in shout or chat.

Other Launch Perks

To also celebrate the launch of Tauti, players will also be treated to the following perks:


Free Teleports: All conventional Gatekeepers (not Primeval Isle guy, he's grumpy again) are offering free teleports to pre-established locations. This perk will last one month.
The Player Commendation Lottery begins! Every day, you can acquire one free PC Lottery ticket from the Adventure Guildsman NPC. When you use your lottery ticket, you will instantly win a 100, 1,000, 2,000, 10,000, or 100,000 PC Point voucher. Give the voucher to the Adventure Guildsman to redeem your PC Points as currency. If the amount of PC Points in your winning ticket will make your PC Point currency go over 200,000 (the maximum), you cannot redeem it. You can find out if you've won right away by clicking the ticket in your inventory; you must use your lottery tickets within 30 days. This event will last two weeks.

It's working on Chronos (wish there were better rewards lol)

Be sure you have the Guildsman, there are lots of other Adventure npc's like Adventure Helper, Adventurers' Guide etc. /target Guildsman

You do need to have at least one PC Point on your character in order to see the dialogue options. This is because the PC Point system formerly awarded PC Points just for being logged in. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. You can, however, purchase PC Points in the L2 Store or L2 Galleria (http://store.lineage2.com/store/detail?goodsNo=170250&categoryPath=1_3). The GM participation part of the event is over. The Tauti monster needs to be respawned manually if there is a server crash, so there may be a short while that the monster is missing, but it will return shortly.

I'd lol when it one shotted everyone there. Raided the real one, it's aoe swing and it's jump attacks are no joke.

He is definitely tough to beat. The last stage is also kind of funny and can easily kill your party if you drop your guard.

Ya, I heard about some axe or sword that comes and fights for him. We made it into like 1/4 of his HP before he downed us, but it was only 2 grps of 97+ there. I think we'll make a run at him with 3 grps next time and bring a lot more Brez.
