With this GoD update healers get 4299 hp more when wearing robe. Should healer still use heavy armor or its bettre heavy then the boost in HP from wearing robe?
It all depends really. I think at lower levels 85-90 light might be best, 90-95 it's a toss up of either and 95+ heavy seems best still.
I tested with +4/5 seraph jewel set, +4 seraph light main/pants and +3/4 seraph heavy set and OE'd armor mastery, the difference was about +20% hp, +8% m.def but -24% p.def whilst wearing light compared to heavy and buffed with standard pvp buffs.
At lower levels with worse gear you will lose a bigger portion of your m.def and the HP will make a lot more difference.
It's complete bull**** really considering robes and light got p.def, m.def and evasion boosts when they added this in korea, we only got half of a ***** patch here.
So you think that wearing heavy armor still seems the best option?cause I was about to use heavy armor and after this I got really furstrated with my decision :/ I was thinking of making a heavy for pvp and tight situations and robe for regular solo/pt farm.now would it be better to make heavy and light or stick with heavy and robe?can you tell me yor p def with heavy full buffs wiz harmony sonatas and your life and casting?of course mentioning your level and any wit dye.and after tell me the same stats with a light armor?seraph ofc.ty in advance.

Lol...... don't take the p*** mate, I don't mind giving advice and stuff I've found but don't push your luck.
Fact is you get a static ~4.1k hp and 300+ m.def from light, I told you the p.def difference, work it out for yourself. If you wanna see casting buff yourself in robes vs naked, that's the casting difference between robes and heavy or light.
@Everyone else:
As I said earlier in Seraph at Heavy still seems the best option since you lose a ton of p.def in light compared to hp, which you can heal anyway and a small amount of m.def. If your gear is worse you'll probably benefit more from light. I forget some people still bother with robes, I've been in heavy since lvl 86.
Tbh, healers should be able to have good defense. It prolongs pvp and makes things miles more interesting. You want all group pvp to end in seconds? It's not like healers destroy everything in general pvp or oly, healers often lose out due to damage in LOADS of matches and open 1v1 pvp they can't out dmg anyone if they use pots.
2-shot healers in robes would make general pvp boring, fact.
Not quite one/two shot really, I'm healer 95 myself and so far Othel's found it a bit hard to pierce me through with their lethals. I actually enjoy the struggle they make just to try, so far never succeeded :) I'm wearing full Seraph heavy set now.

I agree.
I have healer sub, but I wont use heavy until I have a TW at least.
So, let me ask you.
Are you using Shield too? Does it make the casting stops when it blocks?

Never noticed it stoppping casting when I block, although it's not something you can easily test.
To be honest the only reason I really wear a shield is for the looks, it's pretty much useless now. Awakened nukes don't get blocked, you only block from the front and block rate is really low unless you have knights, which doesn't happen often for me. Sigil only adds a tiny amount of p.def, but it works always and in all directions, so seems the better option in general unless you have knights.
