It seems every time they have an update, one way or another, the Aeore's get F'd over...
With this recent tauti patch, my Fairy of Life now does lame healing...
My damaging spells of ALL types are pretty much rendered useless, as they aren't damaging or reducing agro enough..
And to top it off, now my poor Lumi has turned into some gawd-awful player flinging snowballs at mobs from range rather than charging the mob and meleeing it...
What gives here NCSoft? Do you guys really hate the healer class that much?
The Aeore Class was just fine the way it was before this patch.
Hell, I'll even be happy giving back the 3K+ HP we now get for wearing robes, just to get the class put back in a useable state.
There, that completes my rant. Feel free to ignore this as it's just me burning off some steam. I'm sure every 1 else is completely and thoroughly happy with the changes.
hi no offence but most ppl and healersi spoke said that healers are more op now than before with tauti update and lumi is way better for you to be range in my opinion
Like I mentioned, was just burning off steam from yet another disappointing update.
Not sure who said Healers are more OP now than before, but at LvL 88, I'm sure not seeing it. Used to take me about 50 minutes at LvL 85 to do the swamp daily. Upon reaching 88, I was down to about 30-35 minutes to complete it. After today's update, back up to almost an hour again. Perhaps they are basing the extra OP-ness on the HP buff we got. Wasn't worth the trade off imo.
And I'd have to disagree with the Lumi better as ranged idea. It was much better as a melee, as it would go to the mobs. Now the mobs come to me and it. Eventually, after about a half dozen casts, I'm able to shake the agro.
So no, I really can't agree with them being more OP now than before.
You speak about an area where they improved the mobs. Aoere are very strong and OP. Impossible to beat in Oly, they made it only worse. I am not a tyrr, but I expected the tyrr to get a bit more love, not aoere and especially not a iss.
But hey, its good, now more people will want to play these OP characters and we can all level better.
fairy of life always did lame healing, reason for not trust only in it to keep smtg alive for you and about unison, I didnt felt that bad about him... in fact, unison is only a distraction, a around 20k semi-tanker to pull attention from mobs while I finish them - nothing more, nothing less, and it can be just standing by your side to make its job.
For personal reasons, the melee tendency of unison had some advantages to me, which helped me alot to save some ***** from crowd chaos or when smtg got wrong/screwed up in the middle of fight, but now I have to find anothers ways to replace this missing.

I could keep my party alive during hole Kartia just with fairy of life, and some Balance just in case, Havent have the portunity to test FoL after tauti, but it wasnt a lame heal.
So far I've noticed we only got more powerful. I enchanted my Salvation and it seems each +1 is 7 minutes of time. The best enchant I've found so far though is Radiant Purge. Each enchant recovers 1% of the max HP of your target. The skill has about a 1.5 second cool down and costs 45 mp or so. This will is much more efficient to heal tanks than the other single target heals since tanks have tons of hp. It appears that at +10 I can heal 10% HP with 50 MP every 2 seconds.
Also since element now helps your skills you can actually element your weapon for bonus damage on monsters. If you don't have any element aside from the racial, if you are not human, your damage will actually go down now since your element value is 10 and the target is sure to have more than 10 resistance.
As mentioned, it's the mobs in swamp....not you :) I have healer main and haven't noticed any change/problems. I did the SoA solo instance and my nukes were working just the same. I never use lumi so wouldn't know about that and fairy of life seemed same as i ever.
But, on my feoh dual class, I was doing the swamp daily and mobs that I used to 2-3 shot were taking like 12 shots....so yea...they just made swamp a lot more difficult is all.

50 mins for swamp daily before? Soemthing is obviously weird there. Always took around 30 mins at lvl 86/87. Now My nukes deals more dmg and lumi doesn't even need to run towards mobs. I'll time the quest time today to be sure, but get element on weap since now non-elemental skills get weapon element and u can really notice a dmg difference.

Looks like u've missed the line where it said nukers were going to get reduced dmg with Tauti and all p.skills dmg will be increased, which was a move that had
to be taken few months ago, but better later then never :)
Well in the altar of evil mobs & SoA solo instance I am still nuking just like before. So I think my change is due more to the alteration of mobs then the decrease in attack. I did see the line about decreasing m. atk, but like I said, in other areas aside from the front of swamp I'm not noticing a difference.
@Dreamer...I'm working on the 300 :P 165 at the moment....slowly going up. :)
