Type display Bug

When messing around yesterday in kartia someone in my group found out that when you type $(any number) example: ($69) then you get: (rug)
displayed over your characters head. We thought this was hilarious and typed a bunch of different combinations. 723 is (Light my fire) lol... but i'm sure it's a bug and i heard petitions weren't working atm.

Can you post screenshots of this bug and if you're typing in party chat/alliance chat? You can also submit a support ticket here (https://lineage2.custhelp.com/app/ask/)

Yes the annoying large dialogue balloons.

OMG who thought of it to make it like this? It really makes the game look crappy.

Did you try party chat? Replicate it in party chat, im curious. Also what server are you on? I usually only post when im at work, but I have screens and will produce them soon.

On a side note... since I found out about this, I'm getting bugs with people's textures. And a couple mobs... I was in SOA and we were attacking a mob that i couldn't see, but i could see the other ones in the group. And in town sometimes I can only see half of someone's face, their boots and their dualswords..... but everything else is invisible... lol. Is this just my computer being crappy or mabey a known glitch?

No, I was untagged at the time of the screenshot, however. I was in a party with people in an alliance and they were receiving the same effects.

When I tried it, I was on my main, who is untagged. I was in party with alts who are in my alt clan. No alliance.

Seems that each number corresponds with something in the game code, because by typing $1 I end up with "Equipment" on my head, while $2 corresponds to "Item", $3 "Quest item", $28 "Underwear" (lol) and so on...

LOL, yea it's pretty funny. Mabey the coder forgot brackets somewhere or something :P, and it must be a-lot of different npc's because there are alot of combinations.

I still think it's funny that $69 is "rug"
