I want one suggestion, should I use:

*2 LV5 WIT Legendary Dye
*1 LV5 INT Legendary Dye

or

*3 LV5 WIT Legendary Dye

?? TY!

btw if I use 3x lv5 wit , Ill get 1999 cast speed wearing robe+acumen sa and without frantic healing.
now dye are op you can handle some like men, con, wit

or like 2x con 1 wit your choice
i just have some stupid ones....
2x +3wit-1men
1x +4con-3str

c.speed is 1999 full buffed
I have
2x +5 Con -4 Str +15 resist
1x +5 Wit -3 Men +15 resist

I have 1950 fully buffed with wizard and around 1800 fully buffed with knight plus a bunch of extra hit points.
Depends on your Race. I'm orc so I took +15 wit but that only puts me at similar WIT to a light elf.

Boost your stats for heavy, robes are for ******s generally.
+15 MEN is the best
With lvl3 Iss buffs and no WIT dyes I am really close to the c.speed
cap as a human. I'd say go 3 x INT if you plan doing oly's or a mixture
of Con/Int/Wit for group pvp. The only stat i wouldnt consider boosting
is MEN, its effects are minimal and mana aint a problem nowdays.
Well I completed it , im light elf.

I used:
*2x Lv5 Legendary WIT+5 MEN+1
*1x Lv5 Legendary INT+5 WIT+1

and I have 1948 c.speed with full buffs lv3 and using knight, and ofc 1999 using wizz, m.crit 192. :) now its time to buy one accessory WIT+3 TY!

You've ebayed enough cash to get 15 legendary dyes but you're in robes (worst armor) using knights(terrible buff)? waste of legendary dyes and waste of a toon.......

You are seriously saying that the only way a toon would get legendary dyes
at 95 is ebaying?(and btw the number is 30) Seriously how bad are you ppl
in making adena in this game...

On a side note, ye knights is a terrible buff for group pvp and yea prob
heavy + wizards is the way to go for group pvp, yet group pvp is not the
only thing in this game. If you aint afk, robes is better for PvE and half
your Oly matches.

In other words, if you wanna be effective you need both sets.

1st: Im from bartz and I spended 1.5b buying dyes.I bought each dye for 50kk.
2nd: I didn't bought adena. Each server has it's own economy.
3th: Getting 1.5b isnt so hard, if u do instances, have cp to help u etc (ex: uni seraph bp on bartz = 1b+ adena)
4th: Im already making my seraph heavy for mass pvp, for now I have only the robe , so yes Ill use knight for mass pvp.

I mean the benefit from heavy and wizards far outweighs the benefit of legendary dyes, especially on an elf. It doesn't matter what level or grade (+6 immo < +3 twi, +6 immo is only 300 p.def less than +3/4 seraph on a fully buffed toon).

As long as you're rolling in robes with knights your toon is pretty rubbish for pvp. You'll die faster, heal significantly less with less mcrit, have less re-use for important heals and will run out of mp miles faster than any healer in heavy with just +4 or +8 wit from cheap dyes.
Don't understand how people play retail for so long and still don't know L2.

Healers heal for absolute garbage end-game, our panic heal becomes irrelevant. Our two main/major skills becoming only Balance Heal & Progressive Heal.

For olympiad, pvp, and even PVE your best friend is WIT. Because of Casting speed & M.Crit rate - regardless of your class. Please point me at a healer using anything besides +10WIT/+5CON (or +15WIT, depending on how big of an olympiad fan you are), I'll laugh in his/her face.

(both instant cast and unable to crit)

Contradiction right there. Have you ever tried +INT? Have you ever seen
whats the bonus m.attack when you add a Lv5 Leg INT dye?
This is GoD, skills have a fixed cooldown, casting speed does not
influence cooldowns. What you are saying is outdated. I'd love to
fight versus a full WIT healer in Oly, it'll be an easy match :D

+10 WIT/+5 INT .... sup? If you do Oly, CON is waste of a dye slot. Wear heavy against anything that can hit you and robes against healers/mages.

Panic heal is not irrelevant in PVP but should probably never be used in PVE.

Casting speed does not influence cooldowns, true. However, cast speed is still critical. Max is nice but anything 1750 or over is enough, really. Mcrit is still a big factor for a healer. With half damage nukes, getting more crits is vital. But having said all that - yeah - mmmmmmmatk is yummy on a healer now. I went +11 wit/+8 int (with tats/accessories).
Questions....

-Besides p.def is there any reason to use heavy otherwise?

-If you use light armor that gives you ++ crit. does this effect m. crit?

-MEN dyes increase some resistances now, is the amount of resistance even worth it, let's just say... if u were getting them for free.
Most of the responses seem to lend suggestions for improvement at a pvp level.

What would you suggest for more end-game pve dyes? Useful for higher parties & raids. I'd like to do something that will be fairly useful from here on out.

all of the bonuses of hvy defense set are useful. and the pdef is really great.
pdef of hvy lets you use wizard harmony in almost all situations, and healer really needs reuse of wiz for important skills, as well as all the other bonuses (you will run out of mp much faster with knights harmony, due to lack of clarity + regen effect). atm using robes + knights is just gimping yourself a lot; I really cringe when I see healers in robes, especially if they are in pvp clans.

light armor crit is only for physical, it does not help magic crits; that set is only for physical DDs and it would be better, as they mentioned in another thread, to use only 2 parts of light if you must, either with no attribute or two different attributes so that you do NOT get any light armor bonuses, and then either rest 3 parts robe or hvy to get some of those bonuses. But Light is still last choice atm and should definitely be avoided at this point. Best thing is to get heavy set and then get a robe set if you can afford it.

I seriously think +men is useless, I have sub and racial skills for resistances. I have all wit dye, casting speed is still the most important thing in mass pvp. 1v1 maybe not, but in group pvp it's vital. I only did +int when I still had LA hax mastery but that's not applicable anymore so meh. critting all the time is good too, and that comes from wit. I use acumen weapon with hvy and cast speed is fine.

Also for pve aspect, which I don't care about, I find that pvp setup of hvy+wit works very well, I can take tons of damage from mobs, for instance in Fortuna I start off with wizards and then get knights later on when it gets more dangerous and it's helpful; at lvl 97 raids I can even take a hit from the boss with hvy+knights. And wit is always good for getting heals out fast in emergencies. Also with hvy I can stand next to tank and spam aoe nukes to assist in damage if I want (with wiz harmony) and not worry about pdef or taking too much damage usually. I always use wiz harmony and usually don't have to worry about pdef in hvy. I only ask for knights if I am getting hit really hard.
THX this answered some questions I had. So it looks like heavy is the way to go...

I did have another question however.... after talking to my friends in-game they told me I don't really need to worry about heavy armor until 95+ or so, and to just use robes until then...

For pve exclusively, since I won't be pvping until 9x on my dual-class until then, will immortal robes with 0 element carry me to 95? or should I invest in twilight robes as well as a R95 heavy set?
Just alot of $$$ for a dualclass, wondering my options. And yes, I will be pvping a-lot after 90.
robes are fine for pve but not ideal. just have to watch out for getting 1-2 shot, so always stand back from mobs. TWI robes is waste of money. If you will be pvping at all before 95, immo hvy set is cheap and good.
Good to know, how about 90-95. Do you think immortal with 0 elements will be sufficient? IF I can make it to 95 and just craft R95 heavy, will save a-lot of money on 2x armor sets.

So do you suggest scrounging up adena to pay for twilight heavy for only 5 levels?

Immortal is pretty weak at 90+ but... twilight heavy is a decent amount of adena more than twilight robes.

Even though it is better... it could be an issue here. Then at 95+ could get R95 heavy, and just use twilight robes for pvp against nuker/healer etc....

Just trying to make the best use of my adena, heavy is obviously the preferred choice. However, I don't want to spend more than I actually h ave to.
just pick up immo hvy set for next to nothing if pdef is a concern; if bound can use the cheaper stones to put some ele on it too

This...What matter is the elements..not if it's tw or immortal, their diference is not that noticable if both are 3x60. Plus you can OE without much money concerns to at least +5( with mentee diplomas armor..even better but these dont give back crystals tho).

Ok cool. Yea it sounds like I will just stick with immortal heavy and minimal elements.

I get good groups, and they will be even better at 90+. As long as I can survive and keep the party alive until 95+ in immortal this will save a-lot of adena for me!
I know this topic's been somewhat beaten into the ground already, but nonetheless I'd like to know:

What are good total amounts of INT/CON/WIT/MEN to target for in group PvP, and what attributes should I stick on heavy armor? Is there a noticeable difference between all armor pieces using +60 attributes and all armor pieces using +150 attributes?

about dyes is ur choice and how u play, but i agree with him (http://boards.lineage2.com/showpost.php?p=3243298&postcount=14) about wit. if you require another stat you can play with accesories to match your needs.

about attributes, u need to take in consideration that now in tauti if you have more elemental defense of the attacker attribute, u can overresist that attack. than means that u can recieve less dmg. in other words if you have ~350+ attribute per element on you, you are on the safe side.

the koreans write about you having 540, but that is ideal only for one element ... in the real game you will have different attributes attacking you.

if you go heavy, remember to enchant the bp to +4 to get the first bonus (less critical dmg)

heavy + wyz harm = good
robe + knight harm = f... bad, i used it this for pdef but dude u loose so much cd on skills.. i laugh now of what i was doing at that time.

you will notice the difference. i must say i have all the subclass skills (pdef/mdef + cast/attack speed + skill reuse/clarity)
my opinion about healer dyes is:
-party healer: +10 wit, +5 int
-oly healer: +10int, +5 wit
depends on the race, I think it is appropriate that

Human: +10 WIT, +5 INT

Dark Elf: +10 CON, +5 WIT

Elf: +10 INT, +5 CON

By doing so you get to make a balance in the stats. But it all depends on how the player wants his character. Sry for me english.
Human class for sure need WIT! specially for our ress...
