Testing: Treasure Box from Aden Donation System
Question: Test on the reward of the system (like i tried to do here (http://boards.lineage2.com/showpost.php?p=3217468&postcount=6) but with more cases study. (a multiple 10k+ case may be necessary, my suggestion would be 5 x 10k boxes open))
Reason: Since the Harmony update, this system is been under some questions as it still useful or not. (Most ppl consider it useless since there is no reward that justify an high investment on it)Note: I split the 20,000 boxes into two test results to show the probability.
**Note: The wrong item was tested when I first did this test. The rewards are for the old Treasure Chest. I apologize for the inconvenience.

"A" and below should be removed since it only takes a few days to hit S grade, making all those items useless

I don't think so. You'll just have to wait and see.

So it's confirmed that this system is worthless as it is. (half billion adena per pendant) Sad since i kinda liked it.
My advice for the users: save the Mats for Glory Days Update. ;)

btw, I opened about 8k and I got 0 pendant. But I'm extreme unlucky :P

When I did the test, I received a pendant after opening the first 1,000 boxes twice.

did ncsoft changed something on these boxes? the two tests u did are just a lie.. compared to the rewards i took from over 25k boxes cant even get closer to 2x range

There hasn't been any changes to the box since the Harmony update back in March. I opened another 5,000 boxes today and actually received 3 Pendant Boxes. Sometimes you're lucky and sometimes you're not :(

I'll look into it more later to see if there is an issue with the test or item.

u are talking about 160 avarage boxes from 10k treasure boxes i had about 80 max 100 from 20-25k boxes ? and yes i reached even passed your elixir boxes count :D:D

btw i couldnt see stone fragment boxes on your test? hope u arent testing with different item id.. those boxes are named "Treasure Chest"..

and btw i just opened another 3300+ boxes and i received only 18 hair accesory boxes.. 18x3 isnt 150+ the rate is 3x less on players just check your codes..

cmon.. you can't be serious man... i invested everything i had on these chests and now i have nothing.. i wouldn't do that if i knew the rate for one pendant is 1/15000.. its not my fault that ncsoft doesn't announce their own changes

The fact that you invested everything you had is your problem. You should have known that even if the chance was 1/5000, there was a strong chance that after 15000 items you would still have nothing. This is normal when chances are involved in a MMORPG. Only spend the money you can afford to.
