Well as I am standing around in town, I noticed something very peculiar. I was watching a player attempt to incubate his eggs in town. Someone else nearby was doing the same thing. However, some "player" comes out of nowhere and hits the eggs, from both ppl trying to incubate them. The action of the random player yells out bot.
Soooo, if you have eggs, and suspect someone is a bot in town, try to incubate it near the suspected player. If the suspected player is indeed a bot, you will see him hit your egg. Very stange.
I did this an hour or hour and a half ago to two players in Aden on Naia, I was just bored reading something ingame so I came and started to hit their eggs by hands, clicking on them with my mouse holding it in my right hand.
Nu this was in Oren yes, but it was well, I cant say on the forums so I will be vague.
The bot was of a specific nationality, and so was the egg incubator. Neither speak English. :D I suspect it was not you in Oren, since the bot that was lured by the egg incubator was indeed acting like a bot, running into barriers, always doing the same attack which is basically unbuffed normal attacks, and was using a weapon. :D
I am rather serious when I say that when you incubate an egg near a bot, you can lure it to you, and it will attack your egg.
This is just a heads up to the community if they do not know this already.
Once again I have seen bots in town attack other ppls' eggs as they are attempting to incubate them. Sad part is, we cant auto-report them in town. >.< NCsoft would you please allow for bot reports to happen in safe zones as well?
For those that scoff that this happens, come to Oren right now, and bring some small eggs, and some stuff to throw on the floor. I can offer you some proof. Right now.
EDIT2: Of course the bot woke up, and is now on auto mode outside of Oren somewhere. Oh well.
It could be a bot scripted badly, a keyboard pressing a macro every once in a while or a person pressing a macro while having his eyes on the television. These events are mind numbing stupid repetitions best fitted for a R2D2 or Robocop. What do you expect?
Automated keyboard use could be prevented if you have to press the hatch skill ALSO when the egg is optimal temperature. However this will just make the whole process painfully slow for the legit macro users.
Ok I see where you are coming from. Here is how I know the 2 incidents were indeed bots. Both of them, were walking into walls, doing a precise pattern of movement, and would return to walk back into the same spot at the wall again. I dropped Stems, and one by one, the bots would pick them up. I am pretty sure noone needs Stems that badly where they would pick them up in a town, then do the precise movement back to the wall again. I am beginning to wonder why ppl are defending bots as fervently as they are....hmmmmmmm.

Its the ones that are incubating their eggs that are being bothered, not me. I will always make ppl aware of the fact bots are around. I wont give up either, but it does appear that a lot of you have. Do not stop fighting botters man.
