You do realize that it "requires" bot scripting in order to summon all these eggs?
If there are characters that summoned 10k or 15k eggs that would mean 1k eggs per day or 4 hours per day non stop summoning and raising temperature.
How many farmers can do this dull action for 4 hours per day?

I dont think that any of them will get banned, becose noone cached them, maybe they are nolifers or something. But i see a lot of bots, go to talking island village and you'll see some of them. (I see them doing it all the time.)
So much fail. it literally takes 2 button pushes to farm eggs, one click to summon. Then you can HOLD DOWN the raise temp key since the egg locks your target.l That's it. You don't need to have your eyes on that screen at all (I have a two comp setup). I can easily do work on my other comp and open eggs at the same time. Heck I could even put my keyboard on the floor and do it with my feet freeing up both hands. You know... for my double double cheese burger and extra large diet coke and cigs.

But if you wanna see bots, forget Talking Islan, go in Guillotine Fortress, Orbis Temple or Seed of Hellfire after 01:00(23:00GMT). So botting in there that even the charrs stuck into each other :o

I don't know if you like to play for hours and say you only played few... but according to your calculations it takes only 6 seconds per egg (summon and raise temp).
Try testing that... You will see it takes on average 14 seconds.

@LethalArcher : you should still use hatch to collect the shiny box no ? :o By reading your post it seems you can only use raise temperature and got the box automatically, so I fear I missed something :D

You get the box automatically after raising the egg at 37 degrees, no need to push the hatch button. :)

program(bots) or violating the EULA, while being afk :D Since you dont know

I would like to see on a video how someone can have a heavy object on his keyboard in order to hatch eggs and at the same time xp/ make oly fights or w/e on another window on the same pc.

Obviously what you saying is not possible, yet you assume its on the same

just saying that there are ways to do it without using such programs and

Cross check that list with other suspicious lists

You do realize this is against eula right? If you are AT your pc then it's okay but if you are away from your computer while your character is still playing via macro or heavy item that is against eula.
Maybe someone else can find the official GM thread on this but I am too lazy atm.
I remember a thread of a new player asking if putting something on keyboard to stuck the key was legit or not, i believe it was said it was against the rules coz it was automated function that isn't suported by the game.
It was a thread where the player in question asked if he could use next target + atk from keyboard by stucking the f1 or f2.

You make two assumptions.
You assume that I assume that everyone that has summoned enormous amount of eggs has botted. And you assume that you are smarter.
It's against the EULA to use Nostromo for something that cannot be done by a live player. As a live player cannot press a key on keyboard while AFK, using Nostromo while the player is AFK is not allowed.
And yes, people have already been banned by putting weights on their keyboards and going AFK.

But hey, give me a few thousand eggs out of the goodness of your heart, and I'll open all day long, I'll even catch up on some TV shows while I do it. Or am I not allowed to opening eggs without concentrating on only that?

Anyways when will people understand the difference between third-party software and macro keyboards.
One does things automatically with regards to many variables eg. pots at certain hp, following certain paths, using skills with inhuman precision (cs bug atm).
A macro keyboard is dumb, it can only do basic functions like hold a key down, repeat a key etc. Nothing beyond what you can normally do by slamming your face into the keyboard.
Gm's have said g15 nostro etc. are allowed as long as they can't do anything beyond what you can normally do in game.

I have opened thousands of the eggs.
I don't bot or script. I just minimize the game to about 1/4th my computer screen or put on my 2nd monitor. Then put a movie on (or series Im watching online) and spam #3 to summon, #1 to use the hand skill.
It's not to hard, just a bit tedious. Though it does not "require" scripting or botting.

Thank you for your concern. I am not trying to pinpoint the behavior of the bots or suggest any action against.
All I did was a poll to check out what other players think.
Unfortunately I "had to" spend time explaining that summoning over 1k eggs per day doesn't necessarily means that someone is botting but its suspicious.
Sure someone can watch a movie and at the same time press two Hot keys....
I wish I could be sarcastic for that guy but if he spoke the truth I pity him.
Simple as hell. Macro: 1) summon eggs and 2) incubate eggs. Save macro. Drag this macro to hotkey 1 (or whatever hotkey u want). Get a toothpick or anything that fit to hold down whatever the key u use on the keyboard. Profit.
What is suspicious is how every time there's an event like this, there's a thread like this, and 90% of the responses are from people posting about how they actually are the ones who do this all day every day during the event, and didn't use any shortcuts to do so, like this game doesn't have a reputation for being filled with bots. Sure, a lot of you are sitting there for 6 hours a day opening eggs while you watch TV. But everyone has to know that there's just as many out there that are automating the entire process, so give the OP a break.
I will add though that being concerned too much about bots is just a waste of time. This is the game we play, it lends itself to bots greatly, NCSoft can't or won't take action against them, and that's the reality of things. If you're legit, take solace in the fact that you did it the hard way.

Definitely something a gaming keyboard can do for you. Not that these guys would use such a keyboard. Anyway, most heros would be quiet careful to not get linked to bannable things. Also, why you think only heros do this? Maybe "how much % of the server will be banned" is the question.

Your question is where did i get the money for the 10 bewr -assuming the players that buy 5k eggs found the money legitely like i did- or you compare my action to make my weapon +4 to get the special effect with the desire of a player to ''make'' on the ''event lottery'' a wymn ring or the top dyes?
For the second part,any old L2 player who has been totaly active on the pvp side and supported the very existance of his server like i did,will go on every update for atleast the top basic gear he needs to continue his role in the game.My post was not about the sucess rate for a +++++++weapon,but for the BASIC +4 enchantment which gives the bonus.
For the first part, with my 10 BEWR trys i 've spent way less than 2.5b and for me this ammount of money is so big comparing to what we make through game that makes me wonder if there is any working system at all left in the game or all are bugged.The players this thread is refering too,put buy shops for antharas/valakas 10 bottle soul=500.000.000m each and open 5-10k eggs EVERY night.Big difference.
