Server Maintenance - 6 - 27 - 2012

All game servers and the NCsoft.com account management functions, and the L2 Galleria website pages will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 5am PDT / 7am CDT / 8am EDT / 12pm UTC/GMT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Lineage+II+Weekly+Mainteannce&iso=20120627T05&p1=234). Estimated downtime is approximately 4 hours for the game servers and L2 Galleria, and 3 hours for NCsoft.com.

With this maintenance:


The Birth of Draco event (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/birth-of-draco.php) continues. As the event has been extended, event items will continue to drop until July 4, 2012.
Angel Cat joins the game for one week, to offer players a useful buff item once per day! Learn more here. (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/announcements/compensation-for-recent-issues.php)
The L2 Galleria and the L2 Store get a store update with new items. With this store update, the limited-time-offer Lucky Enchant Stones cease to be available for purchase. Any Lucky Enchant Stones already in the game will remain. Check back tomorrow for the details on all the new items!
The following bugs have been fixed:

It is no longer possible to pass through the last door in the Spezion raid fight by using the Feoh Wizard Magical Charge skill.
The Teleport NPC in the Delusion Chamber now responds properly no matter how many players are nearby.
It is no longer possible to force another character to log out by using a social emote on them.
The Bloody Good Time quest NPCs now spawn properly in Bloody Vein's Hideout.

Please note that a new cosmetic bug is in-game as of this maintenance that makes "OK" buttons now read "Check" in interface panels. This issue will be fixed in a later maintenance when the buttons will be changed back to "OK."

How much time are gonna still glitched the Energy seeds? i heard it shall be solved at 6-20-12 but nothing happened, so i thought, this time it will be fixed, is really important for some players and the 80% of the seeds are glitched, please i just hope a real answer.

This issue is known and we are still awaiting a fix from the dev team. As soon as we get a fix it will be implemented.

That is not a bug. By design, it is not possible to use lucky enchant stones with blessed scrolls. The lucky enchant stone item description explains this.

The altered appearance stays until you use a restoration stone, or until the appearance is cancelled by use of a particular enhancement. This is likely not a bug; there are some "ninja patches" that we were not informed of when we got the final Tauti launch candidate. We are still testing and verifying these patch notes and once this is done the website patch notes will be updated. This will answer your question.

There is no list on every possible appearance alteration. There is no such thing as a "Blessed Hair Accessory;" the "Blessed Hair Accessory Appearance Stone" exists, however, and that allows you to take the appearance of one hair accessory and put it on another without losing either item in the process.

Yes, R-grade stones include R95 and R99 as well.

The Blessed Hair accessory stone description say the original item would be destroyed Sace :/

Appearance Stones allow you to change the appearance of your armor, weapons, or hair accessories while still keeping the stats and boosts of the original item. You can use R-grade appearance stones with items of any grade, including R95-grade and R99-grade. However, it is required that the appearance weapon be the same grade or lower as the target weapon. Currently, only R-grade appearance stones are available.

what does it mean we have only R grade stones ? there are stones for R95 ?

Also for robes, almost all robes before S80 grades are one only piece (like the Dark Crystal robe). Does it mean we can't get DC robe skin on Seraph Robe armor for example ?

I see what you mean about the Blessed Enchant Scrolls. There's no slot for the stones at all, which is weird since you get slots for the S-Grade Blessed Scrolls. I'll have QA look more into this. Thanks for the extra information.

I'll check again. I mentioned the question today and the response received was the one I gave. Perhaps it was checked with QA but was verified to be working as designed, and is not a bug, despite that the design might seem counter-intuitive.

Edit: I verified that when we checked on this over a month ago, the answer is that this is not a bug. To clarify that with players the item description was edited to explain that it only works regular scrolls.

felt kind of "ignored" when i posted in the mentioned thread and no answer for over 1 week

The last part of the level 81 Seven Signs quest "Seven Signs, One who seeks the power of the seal" was also fixed. I just tried it on an alt and i was able to accept the quest and enter that "space" room to fight Etis van Etina.

Ever since this last update, my updater will NOT update lineage 2...it crashes everytime.
