200% xp, or as in your example, the 2000 xp, gained from vitality is not added to the base xp, it's the total. For example...if a mob gives 1000 xp with no vitality, then with 200% vitality (200%X1000=2000) you will earn 2000 xp.

Depends of how its written.
Case a) 200% bonus (increase) to x is like y = x + 2*x
Case b) 200% of a x is like y = 2*x

Well guys, i think the formulation of "200% XP SP BONUS IS APPLIED" is really misleading:) Because, like in everywhere, if you try to calculate such statements you replace certain keywords iwth math symbols. Like BONUS, EXTRA etc means
"+", in this case - "+200%" to XP you gain w/o it, or like in life you get 50% bonus you don't think you get only half of the thing, right? :D
L2 has alot of this type of small typos imho :)

It's really simple maths .. no need to bring up 100000 calculations to show that NCwest yet again has made a mistake by writing something that is not fact.
The 300% tooltip on party is a bug which exists because when they changed Vit to be 300% a few weeks ago, the party vit still said 200%. They changed it manually to say 300%, and forgot to change it back when the event finished. I assure you the actual bonus is 200%, as per normal, the event finished, the bug exists, and the other personal vit displays show 200%, which is correct.
This is where you fail, my friend. Perhaps you should go back to basic, or elementary, school to learn reading comprehension.

So your logic is perfectly CLEAR. Without vitality you wont get any experience at all.

Bonus means extra, and 200% bonus xp for vitality is PLAIN WRONG. Be it a translation issue, or just that L2 staff doesn't know math... but it's an old error, as old as I can remember.
Vitality = 200% xp = 100% bonus = if mob gives you 1000 xp without vitality, it will give you 2000 xp with vitality.
Mentor buff = 300% xp = 200% bonus = if mob gives you 1000 xp without mentor buff, it will give you 3000 xp with mentor buff.
If you have both, you will get 400% xp, or 300% bonus xp = if mob gives you 1000 xp without vitality and mentor buff, it will give you 4000 xp with vitality and mentor buff.
That's how it works, no matter how it is written ingame.
Ofcourse its Translation error ....... Why do you look at things this way?
They have written 200% so it should be 200%.
I don`t care for their Translators .. in the years they have proven ................... i wont say it because the Comunism here will delete my post :D, but u guys got my idea
