I am making a Sigel Knight and I have chosen the Human for my race. However, at level 40 I have the option to either be a Paladin or a Dark Avenger. Now I understand the differences between the two so my question is; will there be any difference when I become a Sigel Knight if I had leveled up as a DA or Paly?
If there are differences what are they? Which is more commonly used? Which is more beneficial for hunting or PVP? Is there a site on all this already? lol
Well DA would be the better choice in my opinion, because you can keep your reflect skill (though this is mostly useful for pvp). Other than that there's really not much difference.

After glory days, DAs will lose this reflect after awakening, all sigels will be the same, so the best choice, in my opinion, is the char that has the best racials, Dark elves have decent racials, so I'd make a Shilen Knight.
Both DA and Paladin are very good, so pick the one you like the most. Humans have good CON, and elves have the same CON as humans now, so if you like a bit higher dexterity, go for Temple Knight.

If you like darkelves, go for it, because Shilien Knight is one of the most fun classes to play.
IF you want the highest CON, make a WC, level it up to 85, sub it to a Tank class and make it a dual class. I personally don't think it's worth the trouble, because that few bonus CON won't matter that much at all, but if that gets your fantasy moving, sure, why not? Orcs are the most badass race anyways.
Anyways, back to your question: Pick whatever that appeals you more. I'd pick Dark Avenger, because the panther would hasten your leveling speed early-game.

Shilien knight =/= Siegel knight
The're not the same class.
Shilien knight = Hybrid tank
Siegel knight = Pure tank
Mind you SK was my main for 6 years, the new class is nothing like Shilien knight.
Why do people suggest anything other then Paladin or Dark Avenger is beyond me, when the OP clearly stated he has chosen his race (Human).
Paladins have better self heal then DA.
DA have better leveling speed early on and in the 80-85 lvlrange.
*hint upgrade your panter and you can keep it till your 88/89 (if Glory days doenst hit servers first. It has much higher P.atk then the Lion (until lion gets some lvls)
Many people argue that dwarf race is the best for tanks... Is it true? Why?
Orcs and Dwarves have the highest con of all races giving them more hp
Orcs have racial fire resist and is the slowest race and 87 con.
Dwarves have a racial Earth resist (very good for PvE), 85 con and is a little faster then Orcs.
If you want a fast tank (for AoE pulls) you should choose Elf (82 con) or DElf (77 con).
Humans in somewhere in between, not the best con (82) and not the fastest runspeed.
Kamael has 80 con and racial Dark resist which is also good for PvE and a decent runspeed.
Im actually thinking about rolling an Elf Sigel just to try it out..

Don't you say? I also hate what happened to SK, but it doesn't make darkelves bad Sigel Knights. The class became less fun, it is true, but it isn't neccesseraly worse than the rest of the tanks.

if u put some CON Dyes and Health and Haste weapon its a Very good tank i have over 39k HP and over 1k Atack speed
