I was in a kartia today on my archer and the ISS gave me wizard. When I asked for warrior, the summoner in group asked "isn't wizard supposed to be better for archers until boss?" (They were in the same clan, so i guess their clan uses wiz on archers...)
I have never heard of wizard being used on an archer, so want to hear thoughts and opinions. If anyone has done any testing with this...what results did you come out with.
Just from the 3 stages I had wizard -- my half kill never landed. Now that could be just chance, but that's what clued me in to look at my buffs as I was noticing it wasn't landing at all. For regular kartia mobs, it lands pretty regularly, so I think warrior makes a difference for half kill rate.
For Warrior's to be better in skill damage than Wizard's on a Yul, your P.Atk needs to be around 4x higher than the skill power. If the skills have a large enough reuse that they're never just sitting ready. And if your fingers aren't falling off from the spam :).
What about in pvp though? I have seen everyone in olympiad using knights harmony, mainly archer spec, but some in open as well... Has anyone been able to test any of this out?
Tbh for pvp i mostly take Wiz Harmony or Knights (as Tyrr) since i still think that Feoh's are the most pain + Warrior just sucks to take pvp wise.
MM i never thot of wiz for Tyrr actually, should be good for crowd control right? I still lack re-use jewels on mine but at 86 it's pretty impressive class with knight:D
