Since i started playing official i haven't seen any GM to be online on Magmeld!
I do have time to play i spend more then 6 hours IG.
Why do we have /gmlist option if there are no GM's?
Insted of making petition's and sending proof of people boting via mail or ticket's,wouldn't be much much easier to just pm the GM he goues to the location of the bot, acknowledges the situation and ban's him or not, depends if the player is boting or not.
This will actually solve your bot problem don't you think?
Of course that is if you actually care like you guys say on interviews etc.
So if you please a GM a moderator someone that can give a straight and HONEST answer please do enlighten us.
ITS the most know MMORPG and gm's should be apart of the game to help and keep the servers clean.
We conduct patrols, cheater investigations, and other work matters while invisible only. GMs no longer offer live support inside the game itself, and therefore it is not possible to contact one in-game.
GMs have not been visible on that list (for obvoius reasons) for a few years now.
Having played this game for 8 years, and seen how many bots there are, and how rarely they get banned (IF they get banned), I think the only way they can solve the bot problem is if they can somehow auto-detect the use of cheaterprograms.
But I also think the new NC account system is a step in the right direction, making it a bit harder for bots to come back over and over again. Sure it's a hassle for us veterans with 3++ accounts maybe, but its not the end of the world.

No disrespect, but you guys conducting patrols doesn't help the bot problem, cheater investigations doesn't help either, and other work matters while invisible for sure is not helping the bot problem.
Why is not helping?Cause you have the bot problem for years now and they multiply by year also so your actions doesn't affect the cheaters in any way.
Unless you guys can provide a list whit actual players that got banned,if not then you don't have any prof(like you guys are asking us to provide prof when we see bots).
Don't you wonder why private server's are free of bots?Cause they actually have competent gm's that are online and ban people that bot.
When you have a 98 lvl character and you know there is a GM somewhere out there you kinda think twice about boting or not at all.
Again whit no disrespect to any of the staff members or gm's.
In conclusion, you are not taking any serious action against players that bot.
Unless you guys can provide a list whit actual players that got banned,if not then you don't have any prof(like you guys are asking us to provide prof when we see bots). We do not post this information publicly for reasons of libel and slander, which we have explained previously. We have occasionally posted numbers after mass-bans, and we may do so again in the future.
Don't you wonder why private server's are free of bots?Cause they actually have competent gm's that are online and ban people that bot.Illegal servers do not have to abide by a EULA or any legal agreements. Our bans are based on solid evidence only lest someone be banned unfairly, something that cannot be said for all servers.

Whether a player thinks we're watching or not, they should not cheat, they agree to our terms when they enter the game and therefore they know that they will be banned if they are caught.
This topic is not up for discussion and there is nothing more to say on the matter that has not already been officially posted and explained many times over. We appreciate your concern and hope you will someday see satisfactory results from our efforts. I am locking this thread as the questions have been addressed, and to avoid further posts on duplicate topics that already exist throughout the forum.
