Hi folks, I just made it to 86 and have 40 mentee diplomas. What should I buy with it in terms of weapon and armor? The ton is Human Tyr Warrior. As well, the dual swords from the awakening seem rather low level. Do they have a function?
From what I heard, other than being a good-looking souvenir, they serve as a proof to the system what class you used to be before awakening. They will most likely be needed for something in the future, I read about a "reawakening" function that may restrict your choice of re-awakening classes to what kind of legacy weapon(s) you own.

I suggest to start playing with Pole + single target weapon. You use pole for big group of ennemy and Signletarget for boss etc.
Some of your AoE are more efficient with pole and some of your singletarget skill are more efficient with singletarget weapon due to P atk of the weapon.
For armor, you can use Heavy armor attack type if you wanna be a good DD. But you can use Heavy armor with Defense type to be a resistant warrior.
Yo can also use light armor but i think it's onlyif you want to grind in zone with herbs and kill mob 1 by 1.
In further level ( 90+95+) i don't see Tyrr using Light armor.
Ok, so do I spend the diplomas on weapons, and buy armor? Could get a pole and double sword with diplomas. Only have about 140 mil Adena.
Keep your money for the moment. If you have time and a it of courage you can do :
1. Buy Pole + single target weapon ( 2handed sword/dual Sword/what you want). it cost 20 diploma each, so 40 diploma.
2.Create on the same account a reroll that you level up from 1 to 40. On your Tyrr retrieve the Mentee certificate and trade him again for 40 diploma.
3.Buy Heavy armor + jewel and some SSR.
Now you're fully equipped and you saved money.
If you think you can do money very quickly, then buy directly Apo weapon and Twilight heavy armor + Twilight jewels.
If you wanna take your time and don't rush to twilight, then buy some stone and put elem on your armor/weap to be more resistant and powerfull.
With a good Immortal armor ( full elem and +3-6) you can reach level 95 and buy Seraph.
