Mentee level requirement

Hello, just wanted to ask if the mentee level requirement is still 40? Or has this changed? Is the only way to get XP boost when starting, by purchasing exploration packs with NCoins?

Also, is Rune of XP item(50% increase) a permanent item?

The requirement is to have the mentee certificate, from what I've heard.

The rune has a time limit on it.

From the official site:

"Currently, the Mentee Certificate is only available through the level 40 item pack in the Path to Awakening, but we may offer another way to obtain it in the future"

So I suppose this hasn't changed then.

Yes, but the mentee certificate is taken from the dimensional merchant, so you could in theory pick it up on a lvl 1 toon.

That's not really worth doing, but its doable all the same.

The time limit for the rune should be in the description of the item, there are multiple time limits available.

Why would you waste real money on an XP boost item, when it's only a matter of hours to level from 0-41 by following the quest chain?

Cause I didn't know that. I used to play L2 many years ago actually(C1). Not even the feather that let's you res where you died worth the money?

Under 85 I wouldn't be so hasty to purchase all these items. Leveling is to 85 is fast. The feather of blessing is something you might want in your inventory after 85. I'm not telling you that you can't buy any of this stuff,but I don't think you really need it and you're spending money foolishly.

Rune xp have various timers depending on how much you spend. They can be a 1-hour all the way up to a 7-day. Just depends on how much money you spend.

It can be picked up on any character on the account, once claimed as a lvl 40 reward on the toon that did 2nd class transfer.

There is really no point in doing so though, since getting to lvl 40 on the new toon is mostly done by quests, and not so much by just killing mobs.
