Hi guys, so I have a noob issue and want some input to improve.
I have a wynn 86 and wanna do K85 solo. Problem is that if I attack mobs or the boss it starts to attack me imediatelly. I cannot sustain dmg for too long, even with the random heals from the npc healer.
I wear robes for now from mentee diploma.
What is the strategy there ?
I have iss buffs when I enter but if I dont attack at all then the buffs wear off before I get to main boss and I die for sure.
I prolly can survive the first room but rarelly the second. If I am to survive then I have to use the bears ... which means that my buffs are gone before I get to the boss.
Some wynn with experience pls pm or write here how I can do that, without oe'd stuff since I'm ... well poor :D
Try immortal leather instead of robes from diploma and for god's sake element your gear for mostly dark. What do your jewels look like?
Are you letting the npc tank at least grab aggro for 10 seconds. What I like to tell people that die way too much is sing the first and second line of "Mary had a little lamb" before going nuts on mobs so the tank at least has a chance at holding them.
Knights Harmony from ISS instead of wizard or warrior helps a bit too but dmg is gimped
Zellaka in Solo Kartia doesn't have an Attack Attribute, so I wouldn't waste slots putting a ton of Dark Attribute on gear. At those lower levels you want Water, Fire, and Earth Resist, with some Dark but not a ton (but generally you can skip it until you start leveling in Fairies and GoG). Zellaka shouldn't be one shotting you with UTP even with 0 Dark Resist in the group instance (unless your TP pet is out of range). I did it at 85 in Robes with 0 Dark Resist on my Summoner back when and never had to worry about that. And that was with the buggy as hell NPCs that would warp back repeatedly when it tried to come to you to heal... Even in the group instance that has never happened...
Don't need tank mob to tank. Just Next target and let your pets AoE them. I always took Mage Harmony going into there, and always finished it within 30 minutes even at level 85.
Also Diploma gear is terrible cause you cannot put any of the Attribute Fragments on it. You're better off buying an Unindentified Set and wearing a bound set, and using the Diplomas for shots (which will save you more adena than the free gear would).
With Reapers I use a Requiem Retributer and Immortal Robes up until Zellaka and then I switch to Light Armor (but keep the Retributer on). +150 Element of your choice, but Holy is a good choice for the GROUP instance (I'm DEF so I went Wind).
On kartia 90 I use cougars all the time. I let the npcs start AOE and then I tell the cougars to jump in the middle of the mobs on defense stance and using next target/summon attack to kill the mobs that are attacking the npcs, this only takes a few seconds more than using reapers, but you'll kill the miniboss much faster with cougars.
For the second miniboss you can try to bring them to the first room and try to kill him before he escapes.
For Zellaca keep using cougars and stay away, if he's is going after you just run and use cougar jump. If you see him casting fear and you're away start casting servitor cleanse so it will cleanse fear at the first second, if you're too close use barrier and then cleanse.
Use light armor and bow, if you can afford a requiem buster with acumen use it to heal. I would use Knight Harmony until 87-88, the switch to warrior harmony. If you run out of buffs use an elixir of blessing.
