A friend of mine was being hit with normal atks while under Shadow hide buff, the buff was on but he was still being hit by normal attacks on ceremony of chaos. So he sends question to staff how this is possible and if something can be done about it and he gets reply, that they were unable to locate Player4 (the guy attacking him) and to double check the spelling of the player's name...on top of that, he sends screenshot.

But I agree, the whole situation with NCsoft's staff blatantly ignoring the problem with PvP cheat programs (and openly congratulating their biggest abusers in the official forum) looks like one bad joke.
Ok can't really prove it's a bot... whatever you call something that's been xping in the north of the Swamplands for weeks, 24/7... probably a very, very hardcore player. :o

Just a few minutes ago I got killed in the CoCT again, while having Shafow of Doubt on. It did NOT get canceled. I was still invisible, and still had it showing in the buff bar. It's just that nuker who kept hitting me with Elemental Spike, he obviously was able to target me. Any idea how?

Yes there are ways to cancel it.. But as others in this thread has said they still had the buff on their buff bar so hence it was not cancelled.
I heard that if you use the mysterious shadow before the match begins, players will be able to see and target you. (but I've never tried to hide before the match begins, so I dont now for sure), I guess that the same happen with shadow hide.
At least I've never been attacked while in hide once the match is started.

Same here, i've always used hide the moment the CoC starts, and never had it canceled.
You do get canceled at the 1st and 3rd minute of every CoC by default, so you have to time yourself right for things to work correctly, but besides that, no problems whatsoever.
Now, for the OP: Have you had anyone target you OUTSIDE CoC in the same manner shown here?. Because its weird that you get hit and dont get the buff erased, since the deal with hide and non target AoE is that they hit you and the buff immediately dissapears. It should be the same thing here, but since that does not happen, so it might not be a targetting issue, but rather a bug in CoC.

Look, i dunno about that, it's not my issue, what i was shocked was with the reply given.
For your "shock", this is nothing else than the usual "automated response" that lower GMs are supposed to give into these issues. You can check logs (i know that you can check such issues from "before" :rolleyes:) and do some intensive work, but it is A LOT of work and you need some additional info (when it happened (day and hour with GMT mod), your name, location, etc), and you need to know how to look into them. Not something a low lvl GM can do, and not something a higher lvl GM would investigate into (due to the number of cases he has to check every day).
So, case inconclusive, i dont think there's going to be an answer or even a resolution to it, lets just call it "another day in NCWest' Land".

A Ticket of me got simply ignored. No notification about the number, no response nothing. But like 5 days later i got a email to rate the Service for it.... :confused:
Made a 2nd ticket (15.07.) ... like 1 week no response. Had to send it to Juji, then to Sace (ty for checking into that).
Info of Sace: They forward my "Patch and Update" Ticket -> Technical Section and simply closed the ticket...
Thanks to Sace it got re-opened (24.07.) and still no info....

I don't understand your point. Guess GM didn't understand what you are asking either.
this is a known issue since the introduction of hide skill on daggers so dont get your hopes up it will be fixed, the issue lies with the fact Koreans don't have any reason to introduce counter measures etc. for it.

And it would be so easy to fix:
While you are invisible, you're also invulnerable or evasion is pushed up so high you can't be hit. They needed to do this with fake death too. If a person used fake death it should have been no ability to do damage on the target.

Yep, and people with hide can avoid your AoEs. Recently happened in Oly, i tried to dispel an enemy's hide and he avoided my razor rain with his ultimate evasion >.< (and it would have been more funny if he had counterevasion and reflect me the damage back xD).
So, evasion up when hide/shadow death is a big NO NO.

Yea sure, so when a Dagger hits you once in Oly and then goes into hide (which they usually crit on) and 2 minutes later plays dead on the ground, you can just stand there and watch them until you lose the match by default. Or you can do what anyone with half a brain does and use a destruction tali (which doesn't require a target) to throw an aoe that stands them back up.
On a side note, some of what you people are complaining about has nothing to do with 3rd pty programs. A few classes have aoe skills that do not require a target and if you get hit by it then you're coming out of that hide (or your dying from it if your HP is low enough). There are however some people that can see through hide again using the programs, so it can also be that in some situations.

It doesn't matter what clan I'm in, the fact is that in coc with a bunch of people around your chance to get hit by an aoe is a lot higher than in Oly. I didn't say a word about who does or doesn't use programs in particular. So spare me the bs superstar.
