Beginning August 2, 2012, players can purchase a server transfer and move their character to a different server. Server transfers are processed on a weekly basis during the regular Wednesday maintenance.
The full details about server transfers can be found here:
To see a detailed list of transferrable and non-transferrable items on your character, you must first fill out Steps 1 and 2 of the transfer application form (http://store.lineage2.com/optional/detail?goodsNo=5001000) (no need to purchase it yet!). Then you can scroll down and click on the "Detailed View" link at the bottom of the Step 3 section. This will show you a customized list of all items on your character and tell you which will transfer and which won't.
I think this service should have been for free at least for 1week; chronos and naia got it for free, I think its turn for shillen-magmeld-bartz to decide where they wanna go, and after the free period start asking for NCoins.

That was only offered to Naia and Chronos because of the issue of not being able to log in most of the time because the server was full. It was a way to compensate players for the hassle.
The old vitality items are transferable? chocolate/vita pop/birthday pack, etc?
The chocolate cookies did transfer for me during the free transfer from chronos to magmeld, but check it with the added feature to see what goes before you do it. Might have changed.
Small question, is it a manual or automated service for you NCSoft ? :)
This service is automated: no support tickets or direct GM contact with the player or account is necessary, but we do have staff at the ready for tickets about the service or from players having issues with it.

So if it doesn't require manual labor why is it still $50 out of curiosity? I think $30 is sufficient.
ok, i just did my transfer now, where can i check if it is all ok?
nc coins is not there, but when i go to the transfer page, i can chose my toon again for another transfer. lol
If you're able to fill out the form and purchase the service in the first place, that means your character is eligible and the service is now queued up. It is odd that they're still showing up in the application form, though-- I'm asking QA about this and I'll post again when I hear back.

im soooooooooooooooooooo happy now :p
Okay, I heard back. It's not optimal functionality for now, and we're working on getting some better "status" features in the future, but if you did try to purchase a transfer a second time for the same character you will get an error message. Fortunately, the main way to check that you're properly queued up is by the fact that you were able to complete the form and purchase the service in the first place. :) So, no need to take that weird leap of faith and try to sign up a second time.

IN the past (before F2P) it was $25 iirc. Not to mention, Lineage II has one of the WORSE transfer rules ever. Can't bring everything with you and stuff like that and it takes up to 1 week. Other MMORPG's (WoW, LotRo) a transfer is about $20 and you can bring everything you have with you and in your bank. Only a few items can't be transferred, but it's rare to have those...

i still dont get how hard it is to transfer augmented items, for which some of us paid a bs load of adena for, is not allowed although the system is "automated", sick
if you are the winner of the month's CoC and become "true hero" would you still be able to transfer servers that month?
I've asked QA about this but have not yet received a response. Once I hear back I will post again.
sace when u confirm the transfer on webpage then all the changes like % and adenas in the toon are apply when this wednesday realiced the transfer??? or the toon back to status when u accept the transfer in webpage???

If you mean to ask when the surplus Adena is removed from the character, that happens during the actual transfer. Having the appropriate Adena amount on your character before transfer is not a part of the requirements to sign up for a transfer. If I misunderstood what you're asking, please re-phrase your question. :)
Have you done transfer char ?
My character is not transfered yet :(
The server transfers were indeed processed, and only one failed. If you were queued up for transfer (you can verify this by checking that the server transfer service is in your purchase history) and the transfer failed, you are automatically re-queued for processing the following week.

omg dont tell me it cause of a mail sended to me during the day ?
I just logged in, and I got a mail not readed today...
Come on, if it causes of the fail you can't process to the transfer again ?

Unclaimed mail with items attached does indeed fail the transfer, as the service page explains. Transfers are processed once per week only, and it is the player's responsibility to ensure that their character's eligibility (no unclaimed mail items, for example) remains intact for the transfer. Despite that we cannot process transfers more than once per week, the service has been improved somewhat since before, as the character is automatically re-queued for transfer for the following week. Just be sure you character stays eligible and that nothing will break the eligibility before next week's transfer, and it will happen.
scroll down to the "About" section and it is the 6th row^^
or
read it all because NC takes the time and makes this available so you wouldn't need to ask silly questions
