If i was to have a Tyrr (dual played more than the main) and a Sigel (main) share one set of armour which set bonus would be better Atk or Def, and why?
i know you can swap the Set options at any Blacksmith, but i am to much of a tightwad to spend that much every time, so i want to set it to one or the other and leave it that way.

There isn't particularly a "better" as much as what your primary playstyle goals are.
Try and answer these questions to figure out what you want.
1. Primarily pvp or pve on both? Tyrr pvp, and Tank pve. Or vis versa.
2. Is your tank strong enough to sacrifice the defense when pulling mobs?
3. Does your tyrr do enough damage to sacrifice the extra STR.
If you are in pvp more I would recommend defense. for pve i would recommend attack. Being you can sacrifice the defense and kill mobs faster (faster killing with tank).

yes it would mainly be PVE but wiht a little PVP if necessary, mainly on the Tyrr.
i have had the atk set bonous on for ages as it seemed to fit my playstyle better. i just wanted to get some other ppls opinions on the matter too.
always gone with the idea of attack being the best form of defence for my tank too.
really depends on play style and situation, I use 2 armor sets 1 for serious tanking/pvp and 1 for high dps..
tank armor is seraph hvy defense and pve armor is my +6 MW Noble Vesper Hvy set but in your case you might try out moirai hvy as long as it's +6 aka you don't have a huge impossible gap in pdef..
again this is just 1 approach and there are prolly plenty of other ways..
