Protect Your Accounts

As some of you may know, there was recently a security breach in another game company. Although this did not take place in any NCsoft accounts or games, we'd like to remind all players of some easy and practical account-safety measures that players should follow:

Have unique account information for each game account (don't use the same password or account name for all your game accounts-- even if they're from different companies).
Change your password frequently.
Don't share your account info with anyone (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=213282). Seriously, that's bad, mmm'kay?
Watch out for phishing emails. It's difficult to teach players how to spot a phishing email when posting on a public forum, but overall tips include: don't click on links-- go to the website manually instead, and remember that NCsoft will never ask for your password.
Read up on more safety tips on the NCsoft website. (http://us.ncsoft.com/en/playsmart/)
It's always nice to see such warning :D

I wanted to add something for people wondering which password they can use generally : http://xkcd.com/936/

For account, it's easy to pick something in the login and change it in the password. Just an idea to get some random password for each account :)
