Aeore Healer vs Wynn Summoner

Aeore Healer Started Last reply 14 posts
There aren't many videos out there with Wynn Summoner's pvping, but I found this little gem on youtube not too long ago:

Are healers really this difficult to take down, or is this particular healer in a league of his own? The Wynn Summoner was bad *** too, I couldn't believe how long he lasted in this fight. I was wondering though, since he's a kamael, couldn't he have used his final form? Does that actually help in pvp or is it completely useless?

Anywho, enjoy! Drop your thoughts if you have any. :D
That summoner is playing mage, if he went final form, he would have to:

- unsummon pets, which is highly hard coz they all need to be out of combat;
- summon cougars, coz only these are worth with final form;
- use physical DPS gear;
-somehow change to warrior or knight harmony, which he can't.

Also every sumoner has a high-powered transform, not just kamaels.

Are you referring to Nabiarov? That's the only transformation I'm aware of that all summoners have. If you mean our old 3rd class transformations, like the DE's demon form, I don't think I have that anymore.

The Kamael have a cool advantage in that they have two transformations.
Yea the nabiarov..now called Naviarope...which i prefer to call Noobarov.

Body reinforcement is definitely a killer till mid~90s but im not sure it could overwhelm a healer that much at this level in olympiad.

I personally think this particular healer is skilled. I found another gem last night and this summoner went against a few healers himself and dominated, up until the last healer who actually gave him a run for his money even though in the end the wynn won lol.

This guy inspired me to become a better summoner. He's very talented!
Summoners will always have the advantage in oly. The combination of transfer pain + heal pets + balance makes a toon very dificult to take down.

In oly the summoner only has to survive. He will win for damage :).

Very nice video. And his skills seem to improve too. When he was pre 90 he seemed to not believe in the putting the mark that cripples healing on Iss's, but he does when he is higher lvl.

I didn't realize how devastating these marks are either, there's a scene in the video where he's fighting a tank in Oly... about 30 secs in, he obliterates 2/3's of his CP with marks alone, he didn't even pull the marks. I have to watch it again to see if the Tank was probably lower level... actually I was reminded of something you said in another thread. You mentioned that most people don't even pay attention to jewels, so that may be the reason why this tank was screwed.

Hmm... then again, mark's aren't affected by INT are they? I'll look for that specific scene and we'll discuss more from there.

So it was the first mark in the 2nd bar. I apologize for my ignorance, I haven't played my summoner in awhile so I can't recall what that mark is. I'd appreciate anyone filling me in on its name.

Any thoughts on this btw, guys?
Well all the marks are damage over time, but they also have extra properties, the green one hinders healing a bit, and I know there is one that interrupts skill usage. The blue one gives back hp and mp ( a bit op but it lasts the shortest too).

I dont remember what the yellow one does, been a while since I played my summoner.

I do remember seeing mcrits with marks though, so there is probably some initial dmg as well.

Yellow one decreases mental attacks resistance by 30%. At least i use it 1st since the rest of marks are mental attacks.

And about mark m crits... As i saw it's like dot damage/ sec x10 = dot m crit damage and it's not effected by m def, u can't resist that damage, only exile,petrify, celestial can protect from that.

Thanks for that Andrius!
Both the healer and the summoner in the posted videos are skilled players.
Yes, healers are difficult to take down by any class because they heal and cleanse themselves (who would have said that? :D)
And for a healer it's difficult to take down the summoner because of low dps, wynn's transfer pain, balance life, etc..

Aeore vs Wynn (if both are equal in level/gear) is always a hard fight, for both of them.

Wynns can't use important skills while transformed therefore they don't use it in oly. It's good for maximum dps in pve, but not in 1v1.

And about mark m crits... All debuffs and dots can crit while landing, that's when they deal some more damage. Then it's just a debuff/dot, ticking (not critting) for the rest of time. From my experience, the land rate does not depend on m.atk. You can have 20k or 80 (not k) m.atk and the land rate will be the same.

You'd have to show me this in an experiment. I know that landrate is greatly reduced/increased based on level, and I still don't know, aside from levels in general, what factors into this.

Also, just a thought, if what you say is true, it would mean the landrate is "built in" to the skill. Are there other skills that work like this?
Just try to debuff some player or some mob with and without your weapon, with and without shots (high and low m.atk). You'll see it doesn't matter. It's more about skill level vs player level and resistances which depend on stats like con, men and buffs.
