All game servers will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 5am PDT / 7am CDT / 8am EDT / 12pm UTC/GMT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Lineage+II+Weekly+Mainteannce&iso=20120815T05&p1=234). Estimated downtime is approximately 4 hours.

With this maintenance:


The Summer Squash event (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/summer-squash-jul-25-aug-15-2012.php) ends. Please be sure to use up all your event items, and open your Squash jewelry boxes before this maintenance begins. The time-limited jewelry inside the jewelry boxes will not be removed, as it will expire on its own timer. With this maintenance, the Puss the Cat NPC and the following event items will be removed from the game:

Nectar
Squash Seed
Large Squash Seed
Cloned Squash Seed
Cloned Large Squash Seed
Squash Accessory Box
Squash Necklace Box
Squash Earring Box
Squash Ring Box


The Summer Warfare event (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/summer-warfare.php) shifts gears and delivers prizes!

The Battle of Chaos Participation Prize winners and 50 Luck Bonus Scroll winners receive their reward item(s) in their character's warehouse.

How do I know if I'm a Lucky Bonus Scroll winner? If you participated in the Battle of Chaos event, your character is eligible for the random selection. Check your warehouse after the maintenance and see if you won a 100,000 Individual Fame Scroll!

The Battle of Darkness (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/summer-warfare.php#Battle-of-Darkness) event begins (when the bonus campaign rounds occur, on different times and days per castle and server). New functionality is being added to make Power Shirts into dimensional items! (This refers to the shirt item from the March 2012 store promo.) A new dialogue link has been added to the Dimensional Merchant which allows a character to "Seal" their Power Shirt, and then share the Sealed Power Shirt via the Dimensional Merchant to another character on the same server and same account. After the shirt is "Unsealed" by the recipient character, its name is changed to "Exchanged Power Shirt." The exchange can only happen once: an Exchanged Power Shirt cannot use the Seal/Unseal Power Shirt function in the Dimensional Merchant dialogue window.

Sealing and Unsealing for Power Shirts is only possible through the Dimensional Merchant dialogue link. Seal Scroll items do not apply.
The Seal/Unseal Power Shirt functionality does not work for any other items. (Elemental Shirts cannot be sealed, unsealed, or shared at this time.)

Due to recent issues, various tweaks have been made to improve server stability. We continue to monitor the situation in order to fix any further issues that arise.

I have a bad feeling these tweaks aren't gonna be good at all D:

Is there any news of why there have been random server crashes lately? I play on bartz and they've been occuring few times last week, and I know other servers are experiencing same issues...

Thank you! This is great, although it should be unlimited not 1 time but for people who rolled a new toon and would rather have it on that toon this is really nice! :D

Where is the fixed bug when colecting the energy stones in soa?

We haven't received an updates about this bug report in the past weeks due to other priority bug fixes needed by the development. In general all bugs will be fixed, though we cannot give an ETA as to when. Once we have more news about this bug report we will update you.

This is really just a big joke now! I haven't played in a month, waiting for this fix. So I could make some money! They could careless about fixing anything now that its free! But they sure can get new thing to sell up and running real fast....

I understand about improve l2 store items, but honestly...

Important things that really need be fixed(at least on Bartz):


*Adenas spammers now shout in orange, talk normal in all chat(white) and the recent news, they pm u as well! This need a solution. I imagine begginers trying to find party to kamalokas or looking for clans... honestly enough of this, my block list is already on limit, have to delete old spammers for add new ones is ridiculous... sorry but this is exactly how me and so many other players think. How this bots get lvl 21 so faster and move to aden/gludio etc?
*Inside frintezza, once teleported some people still get dc.
*Geodata in teredor sometimes is really problematic.
*Collecting energy stones.
*Better security. I already reported something like 10-14 bots. Bots everywhere, prices of twilight parts are ridiculous coz the economy is going bad with so much adena on server. Light tw = 500kk, seraph 300? Something wrong no? Too many lvl 90-94, so few 85-89. This show just that server population is just going down. (Try find a healer and a tanker once u can't make a decent cp.... Then come here and tell us how much time u needed for it).
*Draco event was cool, but make a problem with potions. How u people make one event about win the cerimony of chaos with soooo many draco potions in server yet? The min was make this items not useable inside cerimony of chaos, as well a set buffs need be inside there and cancel the preview ones. This seeds event just make our inventory full with useless stuff... soul shots A, B...

So you guys were obviously working on making Power shirt's dimensional for some time now, but you chose to release the new shirt's before letting people know. How ingeniously greedy of you.

At what point does customer satisfaction start to weigh into your decisions? I for one can't wait to see the new shirts due to come out in a few months that will be superior to the others... Oh, but at twice the price, right?

You obviously have no clue haw hard it is to farm those breastplates(I'm assuming that's what you're talking about). My cp farmed upper gog from something around lvl 92 to 94 and we probably got about 3 light drops. I'm pretty sure there is only one mob that drops it, and it only spawns at night in game.

Fortunately more people are doing istina on this server, so twilight stuff is becoming a little easier to buy. I must say I miss selling all the heavy breastplates for 500m though :rolleyes:

edit: you do get a lot of parts up there though, i always sold them to buy shops. I have yet to even try crafting since GoD, looks stupid.

edit2: and agree with the guy above, get rid of the freaking spammers in town, i've been running around with /allblock on now for god knows how long. I guess it doesn't matter too much though since everyone in chat is BR, can't understand what they're saying anyway.

Those Elemental Shirts were quite a disaster in Asia, therefore the developers have completely given up on that route:

Even Olf's T-Shirt, a mild form of Power Shirt, has been removed from their item shops. All that's left is the empty tailor's dummy where it used to hang:

You never know what the developers will come up with in the future, but for the next few years you can be fairly sure that there will be no more buyable Shirts. They would first show up in Korea anyway, at least half a year before we get them, and the regulars at Rochand, who monitor the developments in Asia, will warn you in time :)

What we will get around Halloween are the Dual Class Shirts. But those are obtained simply via game mechanics; no real money involved.

I agree crafting in GOD is nerfed, I attempted craft on 4 TW BP's cost me 250m each to craft and each one failed. 60% recs? more like 10%.

again today in the SOA 80% energy seeds does not work! how many more will continue this outrage?
How long can this have to report? you are doing only those issues that affect your profits! the gameplay you look again .... really hard to give a concrete answer? not normally refer to the fact that there do not know anything, if it do not know why all those engaged in business!
