I'm really interesting how do you like to leveling/xping peoples. I do play on the Naia, but I do experience, that most of the new players only like to do the Daily Quest, Instances and nothing else.
Would be good XP to make XP in SoA, Harnak, Garden of Genesis, Orbis, Guillotine Fortress, Seed of Hellfire too.
But if I do setup for them a party for them harder to find peoples who join here as if I would make a Spezion party (on the Naia server).
I guess everyone who just make the daily stuffs, have to change their mind, because since this May the developers decided, that they will make only or almost only open field, grinder areas to the upcoming updates.
5-6 new places did release already in Korea, might be we will get these areas in some months too.
I do experience also, that just mostly the old players are opened to make XP on the grinder areas, but I can't understand why, because there often we can make much better XP as if we would do the daily instances.
Personally I do like better grinding, but mainly do the dailies, because of my clan mates or friends. But I do those daily what is around my XP ground and gives some good XP.
Daily Q ? I do'nt really do them anymore at 90+
Daily instances ? Fortuna for drops may be, not for the xp tho
Grind ? It doesn't bother me to chain monsters in Fairies for 3h+. The last one I guess
With my semi-CP (Iss, Sigel, Aeore, 2x Feoh, Random) we do mostly this order:
1st kartia group
2nd Soa daily
3rd Harnak3 untill one of us go to do something else (sometimes, we leave the chars afk, by turns).
4rd Afther 3-4 hours of h3, I do my solo kartia.
NOTE: Cuz we dont buy vita pots, from wednesday to friday, we only do kartia and soa daily. because, I think that is better to keep the vita for Zelaka.
BTW I think thats the reason of why nobody want to do grind xping, and some others:
- Newbie ppl didnt known where are his grind lvl zone (I see many videos of 86+ doing GOG, epic fail)
- Newbie ppl, dont known/care about the party matching sistem.
- Newbie ppl, dont care about make an a CP.
- Almost, 50% of the players, just quit the game when they see the huge diference between 1-86 and 86-90 (mostly in the 89-91).
- There is about:
70% wynn
15% DDs (In order, feoh-yul-othel-tyrr)
10% Alts Iss.
4% Main iss.
0.999999999999999% Aeore healers
0.000000000000001% Sigel knights
Based on, 99% of them are/was Bots/ebayers.
99% of the newbie players, come from private servers, when the point is farm to the best equipment, no to lvl up.
But, IMO there is not his own fault, is fault of the actual sistems, that seems to pretend only business and didnt care about the happynes of the ppl.
Is more usefull to have majority ppl who dont know that they dont need to buy twi, and even the dont need twi till 90+ (and in some clases till 95+). Anybody with brains, can craft them (or at least 3/4 parts before 95). and by not buying anything at all. This is because, the ppl who farm GOG/fortuna/spezion/orbis/fairy/GF/hellfire need to keep his business and his buyers.
There you have some of the reasons.
PD: I dont complain about the game, I get it fun an playable, enjoy with my friends, and when we decide to leave to a mid rank clan, some pvps too i guess.

Did not vote cos no option for : Daily + Instance + Grind.
Dailies for sure, Instances if available and if I can find a party and grind on my low level mentored toons or grind in altar till 87 to push mentees 80-84 but drops are rare now.
forgot to add in order to puimik spawns u need to hit 1 of these party members pretty easy :D orbis one right side run till the last room, he spawns like a boss oh u might also see his minons spawns like ashess,iv just depends on lucky

This, I can live with a level a month have no rush.
I voted for daily+instances, and guess its all. Why no grind? well, gonna see the table:
*kartia solo = 30min (average);
*kartia grp = 30min (total);
*fortuna = 45min instance time (1h counting the party gathering);
*soa/gog for mark at proper lvl = 20min;
*spezion = 1h (average);
*fairy quest = 30min (with luck),
then, its +/- 3h50min just running to do daily quests and instances from the moment I log on, till I get bored to hell and must quit the game. Then, in sum, there's no time to 'grind' by my pov. Since the time I knew the game after 85, I hate harnak (all lvls), teredor and others grinding area after 85+ (except for soa, even in 92, I still like that place...idk why). When you hit 90+, you wonder what the purpose of the NC of making the places 85-89 too hard for that lvl range (after 90 and its instances, you find Zellaka+Teredor the real nemesis of hell if compared with Pelline+Spezion).
Only Daily Quests+Instance. Which bores me already to hell. It's a daily routine, which reminds me more on a rl job as a game which should make fun.
Plus the waste of time for shouting to get a party.

You cannot get to 99 by solely doing dailies and instances, at least, not in this decade.
Players that don't use the L2 store tend to conserve their vitality for instances and not kill any other mobs. I find grinding is still very usefull, especially with exp runes + vit pots. But not everyone can or will spend the money to exp efficiently, which is their loss in my opinion.
when i hit 90 i only (with very few exceptions) did instances and dailies and it was pretty good for my casual playstyle. But now im 96 and this tactic dont work anymore ... fortuna, k95 solo and shilien seal ... 2h+ gone and not even 1%, barly 100k adena and close to zero drops ...

Be glad you didn't play this game 7 years ago during Chronicle 1. Then you'd have a real reason to complain (by comparison)...
Well since I'm only leveling subs now I'm doing dailies plus a little grind...anyway can't play a lot these days :(
Anyway it's funny...before F2P, I had an alt sorcerer at 79 with barely 150 mil SP...then as I had another alt to share equip...so I decided to lvl it for comparison only with dailies.
It ended up at 76 almost 77 with more than 320 mil SP :confused:
