can you explain me the main reason of removing xp boosts with lower time? do you think people are exping 7 days non stop?

That Bad. I use the Rune 200% Exp 1 time at week, leveling any of my character from lvl 80 to 85.
Wheen i have full vit, 1 rune 200% 3 hs = 1 level up. Example, Last night, my Mastro go from lvl 82.1 to 83.5 in 2 hs. But i never buy 7 days runes...

I realize it's probably too late to change anything now, but I have to tell you that removing the 5 hour option is a disappointment. I used the 7 day until 99, but I have no plans to buy it for my sub (since I won't grind that one as often); however, I was going to buy 5 hour runes for the times I xp my sub. They were the cost of two 1 hour runes, so they made sense. I doubt I'll buy any runes now and instead will just play "truly free" with my sub.

Concerning the new chat restrictions, I hope they will be SEVERE. If you are looking for a group or want to sell something, it is enough to shout it about once a minute - once. Most people have been making annoying macros to spam their message 4-5 times in a row, I really hope those will get silenced. Shout whatever you want ONCE ffs.
Not that you guys need more confirmation of our general discontentment in the runes disappearing, but...
I believe the longest-time rune I've bought was a 3-day. I simply can't play every day (even less now that school has started again). Also, it's a good value to see the 'savings' you get when buying 3-5 hour runes vs. 1 hour ones -- $2.50/hour is not cool, and I definitely won't be buying week-long ones, unless you are slashing prices while 'consolidating' your offerings...
As far as the 7-day/30-day cosmetics, I agree... To me, it's not worth it to only have a hat for a week, unless you're getting a nice skill from it. Even still, the short skill durations, coupled with long reuse times, likely discourage many from buying those as well.

Please implement either a PA account with 2x XP (to have same rates as in Korea) or make the XP rune time no counting the logged out time... Seriously, a XP rune that make everyone xp x2 during the month, for twice the old monthly fee would have big success. Look what your European competitor is doing.

I agree... Time-limited items should not tick down while logged off... kinda punishes those who are busy.

Same to me , many times happened to activate runeXp and after 30 minutes log out because some personal problems and when i log in again after hours i lost that rune . Make it time to go down only when i am on in game and after i will start to buy again runexp.

In this case rune xp price would increase at least for 7day.
Rune not wasting when player not in game - very nice idea, but will never happen imo.
Since GoD started I bought just 7day runes, because it's best for active player, but last months I use just 5hrs. Even for Istina or EG boss better 5hr for $2 - you can go do daily etc. with +50% xp bonus. Removing 5hrs rune - big mistake and I don't believe that ppl buy 1hr runes more often then 5hr one. Ofc if 1hr rune will be cost 40-45 coins, i'll buy them, but not for $1 for item wich so fast expired, I don't say about disconects/server crashes etc.
Just curious when the soul shot bug for summoners who unsummon and resummon pets have to deactivate and reactivate their soul shots will be fixed. It used to be when you unsummoned your pets your soul shots would automatically deactivate... not any longer.

Beast shots are bugged since GOD (they didn't work when all your summons were dead and you started to summon new ones while corpses were on the ground unless you deactivate and reactivate them) and now are even more bugged, so i wouldn't expect a fix soon :(

i strongly believe that the only reason the 3/5/10's where so unpopular is because they wouldn't stop ticking when you had to log out (baby emergency, flames out of computer, power outages and whatever other excuses we have for life). let's face it: they tried to boost the sales by letting the items expire and it backfired by low purchases and taking up shop space.
so maybe instead of removing those from the shop it might have been better to being able to stop the timers by logging out and turn these into an actually good deal. this also got the advantage of controlling server traffic a bit better.

PS: to be honest, i am more the 2hrs at a time XP kinda guy and would have loved to see 2hrs maintenance/runes added at some point. i also miss the 30 minutes maintenance pots, i used to buy them en mass for kartia and now pop instead the cheap 40cents pots and use them when the boss pops up.
I'm confused. Is NCSOFT trying to play on peoples addictions... or offering a product that enhances fun?
To me, it makes sense that if you offer products to enhance someones fun in a game then they will stay happy and continue purchasing your items, which will increase your revenue.

Finally a solution to the issue that should have been on highest on TODO list and taken care of way earlier.
But yet this still wont irradicate the RMT shouters, because they will just adapt for the new restriction, and we will still see their messages (which even if 1 per minute they still cause me headaches! not to mention most players have maxed the blacklist as-well).
There should also be added chat filtering system that auto kick players that attempt to include certain quotes in their chat such as "www.mmo" and "w w w ." "www.LOLA" etc...

And it will be funny during pvp. You loose ? Spam macro to avoid getting killed. You spam "Assit me on %target" on party chat ? Same, you got DC.
I admit it's a solution, it is just not the best, and it has serious downside. The main being that it affects non public chat

1 month = ~4 weeks. I think your price of the 30 days XP rune should be around 3000 NCoins because people would rather buy 4x 7 days one for convenience. When you buy the longer timed items, you are taking a risk and committed to it. Gj NCSoft marketing department.

I just filed a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General for NYS over your deceptive practices involving the shirts and what appears to be unlicensed online gambling with NCSoft controlling the rates of success to further your sales, and refusing disclose those rates. Maybe make the runes an agathon instead where you can summon and return. I'm sure this is just an experiment to see how much money they make. People with "dreams of 99" buying all the stacking runes and vitality and vitality expanding scrolls and dropping 1k/month. I mean if you play that much, what else could you be spending your money on? Traveling, restaurants, bar tab; or purchasing nonperishable food items in bulk online and wearing pajamas 24/7?

$200 is Realy too much for a simple EXP. Ty but not for me. A new Video Card or a extra LED screen or External 500GB HD is better than a 50% of my actual level.

As i can see the number of new players that join this game is very very small and most of them quit very soon after they hit 86 .
The truth is this game is almost dead and you must be really crazy to spend 200 $ for the pleasure to get 0.00002 % xp instead of 0.00001 % xp when you kill the same mob 5 trillion times .
Most of new players that came with f2p were smart enough to realize that is pointless and dumb to lose countless hours every day killing same mobs and doing the same dungeons every day for crap xp and crap drops most of the time so they do not play anymore .
A 2 x xp and a 2 x drop rate at let s say 20 $ per month would be a lot better and more ppl would buy that .
But probably ncsoft is aware of the fact that every server would have like 30 ppl willing to spend 200 $ for a 30 days rune and that would make 6000 usd but not every server has 300 ppl willing to pay 20 $ per month to make the same 6000 usd . And the main problem is that there are no players that will join the game in the future willing to pay this 20 $ per month , so when ppl that play now get to 99 on main and dual who would buy runes anymore ? No new players no future sales .
No sales means that server will close very soon after most of the spenders that play NOW will hit 99 on main and dual and will stop spending so all effort and countless hours of life lost killing same mobs all over and cash spent will be useless .
So i would say that $ 200 can bring you a lot more entertainment in terms of games and bring it to you when you want . l2 is not the only game in town .

I'm a hero and posted already that it's a rip off. Why would 99 toons want to see a 200% rune in game? Think about that for a min. More importantly for me, I think we keep going in the direction of ncsoft trying to bleed every last cent from ppl and ******* up the game while doing doing so.

If i were a RMT, i would also be hapier i think! Those sellers with the insane spam looked rediculus before (as did NCsof also), but now they appear more frieldly and legit to the new players. Like an official adena trader or something.
I think removing the disconnect thing from party/clan/ally chat would notbe that difficult, cause it's really funny to be in the middle of pvp or raid and spam "my target %..." and get dc! It's the only spam i like tbh and would be a years habbit to get rid off! :p
For the runes marketing, i really liked the draco event 200% runes that were almost free! I thought, yea i'll taste how it is to level fast and later on, i'll buy some too. No i see that there is a second rase in shop items (there was another big raise some months ago), so i think i'll pass!
For the players complaining, be assured that the marketing departments can calculate the short term increase in profit of their commercial policies, so yea, if they put the prices that high, that means there are many ppl bying those stuff!

Exactly the same for me. I did buy NCoin in the past. I had already decided not to buy anything anymore that I could not exchange between at least my characters on my main account.
But with the ridiculous botting situation currently, I absolutely refuse to spend ANY more money on this game, because I believe that I will not keep playing long-term if it does not change. Keep failing to ban the notorious botters with all their farming characters (I mean the PLAYERS that run multiple farmbots on seperate accounts and channel the rewards to their main) and you never see a dollar from me again.

No new players no future sales .
No sales means that server will close very soon after most of the spenders that play NOW will hit 99 on main and dual and will stop spending so all effort and countless hours of life lost killing same mobs all over and cash spent will be useless .
So i would say that $ 200 can bring you a lot more entertainment in terms of games and bring it to you when you want . l2 is not the only game in town .
Is important to notice that this $ 200 runes do not bring you FUN . You pay 200 $ and you have to kill same boring mobs all over again and do same boring kartia fortuna spezion istina etc all over and over again . And you have to do more of this boring activity cos you know you have runes and they tick away ..
I do not see any point or any FUN in buying this runes .

These sites log in with OOG client. I bet you can do something at least for this because the situation is annoying.
It's impossible to keep track of sell/buy shouts at major towns
It's actually worse now, spammers leave alot of white space so you can't see the toon name to block w/o scrolling up or enlarging the chat space.
I wonder if this fix also is causing the DC's on my dwarf shops in Giran. AFK a bit and get DC'ed?
Unfourtunatly there is no way for them to ever fix the problem with the RMT spammers because there are too many ways to get around the bandade system NC tries to implement. As for the DC's I do not know the cause because I am taking a break from L2 and moved to Guild Wars 2; no problems there and I really like the game considering I has reservations about it before.

Do you really think there were adena selling spammers in those chats before? It's impossible to use macro in party, it's impossible to talk in clan/ally chat if you type with more than 2 fingers and want to tell something to your clan/allymate.

Judi or as we spell it here Juji does not have any control over the game and how it functions. He only moderates this forum and acts as a go between us and NCsoft.

Hero on Naia, one month ago was selling his account on hero chat for far less than that. Was 99level with full gear and 10 billion adena, as he advertised, so i think the prices are much lower!
I write this cause i see the toon still playing (and for the rival clan), so i guess all that was legit...
