NC has the store now, and ways to legitly get Adena via in store purchases. They also have proven over the last 8 years that they will never be able to combat the bots and the Adena shouts in town. So why not get it over with and add Adena in the NC store for all the Ebayer's out there.
I think the playerbase has proven time and again that they won't stop buying adena like its going out of style. And for some unknown reason people will even continue to buy adena for bots that spam the shout channels so you can't even talk to anyone anymore if you are within the city limits. (If you need adena that bad go buy it from some farmer that isn't shouting in towns, its not like it is that hard to find)
If NC Soft finally sells adena in the NC Store. The market won't change, because people have been buying adena since the game first came out. The only differences will be there will no longer be a market in this game for the botters to farm and sell. So you kill 2 birds with 1 stone, and NC makes enough money to continue running this game. Win-Win.
If the team start sell full "dropable itens" they will make a real balance in game commerce, reduce RMT because players can buy itens direct from NC.

Put all itens to sell by RL money in L2store and disable creation of P2W itens like +10 shirts.
I for one won't buy temporary items. Secondly you can't disable power shirts, people paid money for those. Thirdly there are topics like this and have had adena being suggested in the store.

IMO Ncsoft never will sell adenas. If oficialy you can buy 100 Millons of Adenas for 1000 NcCoins (Like the Adenas Seller) too many people will buy, include me. I buy 2000 Millons and solved my problem to get a TW heavy Armor... But if now, i must paid 500 Millons for a upper TW heavy part... and the users can buy adenas, it will be cost 1 Billons becouse all seller know the opportunity of make more and more adenas.
And if you can not buy Nccoins, will be impossible to get a TW armor at normal price.
Not only legits would start buying Adena that will lead to inflation since newbs will just drop whatever amount of cash for some over-priced gear and thus raising its average price but bots wont stop because they'll just sell it cheaper and people would still risk it if they are getting a 50% off the official price.

See I think that NC selling adena is wrong, what I feel would be right at this point in the game is selling items in general. Adena would become useless to a point and you can't bot Nc coins in theory.
I will say nothing is 100 percent, so there is going to be the what if, but if NC put items in the shop that both were perm and not perm, adena and botting would be down with a dramatic rate. Instead of buying items from websites and players, people would buy the items from shop because it's legit, easy, no scam, and no way to get banned... I use to think this would be a bad idea but, as long as it can still be achieved in game it really makes no difference people are botting either way so a big change has to happen!
I played another F2P MMO for a bit, and everything you bought in their store was tradeable. There was no noticeable bot problem. In-game currency dropped at a high enough rate, that you'd have enough spending cash simply through hunting to purchase pretty much what you needed, via npc shops or player shops. Maybe that's a thought as well?
Actually you forget that some of us can go to gamestop, buy a 2,000 ncoin card with a free bonus item. The bonus item can be sold and right now it's a BEWR which runs at about 100+ million depending on server. So for $25 you get 2k ncoins and a BEWR that you can sell for adena. That's legit buying of adena right there.

I admit I made this post while I was a bit ticked, since they "fixed" the problem with adena shouts in towns. I was reading how even clan leaders were getting chat banned for saying in clan chat their vent info. I thought cool, they went a bit hardcore, but at least they fixed the problem. Logged in and the first thing that popped on my screen was a shout wall for an adena selling company. Yep they again screwed the legits and didn't do a single thing to the adena salesmen.
Personally we can fight and kill the bot problem in the game. It's called stop ^$$%% buying adena. And expecially never buy adena from a company that advertises by shouting so often that you can't even read anything but their advertisement. but doesnt make THIS people buy Adena illegaly? i mean, when you see BEWR for 100+ KK Adena, wouldnt that mean people specially buy Adena via Gold Seller? according to the shouts its like 120 USD for like 1.800.000.000 Adena. so with the cards of 25$ each you can gain 5 of them to reach the 120$. 5 cards means 5 BEWR. On the other hand get Adena on the illegal way means you can buy 18 BEWR from the marken. As long we talk about high people, would that makes more sense for them? All they need are 1 or 2 ACTIVE people INGAME, have a eye on chars which got reported as Bots (i mean, comeon, some bots are so cheap....) The game is free, why is NC soft so afraid of banning those bots? they dont lose any money. they just get rip of all those gold seller

Doesn't the Fortuna quest alone give something of the amount of 40kk? I mean how hard would it be for a person who bots to get 7 of these characters and complete that quest, 40kkx 7 nice bit of change, Rinse repeate.
Lets not also forget Zaken, get 7 characters one account 85 and just farm Zaken 3 per toon and if you can use a script to find Zaken the rewards go to one person or company. For easy money just sell the item to the shop. So on average I'd say during one Zaken at least 5kk is made, so simple math says 5kk x 3 = 15kk or more adena from zaken alone one acccount so just make 10. 10x15kk a week. Of course botters will more than 10. I am just estimating.
Farming at low levels (lets say around lvl 70ish) with ISS buffs can make a huge amount of adena.
Of course there was the infamous doing the 1-40 quest that was taken out and you could make 3kk plus the weapon, now that's changed though.
And lastly events.
So overal I believe (and anyone can debate me all they want) that when Goddess or f2p was released the economy went to hell from the changes that were made. So maybe change the f2p model some how???

I'm not arguing your points, there are lots of valid ways to earn adena in the game and it's easy. Between my sub and alts I can make some change on the daily quests. I can also farm repeatable quests and sell the rewards too. I mentor my own toons for my total benefit with adena and mentor coins. If you play smart you can manage well. I'm not loaded,but I'm comfortable.
Is not alone about the adena seller which shout. Is also about normal player which bot and sell after the chars and adena to other player. And as long as there is no hard punishmend, this will never stop. And as everyone can see, each day more bots pop up. If many in past stayed at empty places to net get catched, they now run all over daily quest places and bot so obivous that even a blind person can notice them. Because they know nothing will happen to them.

Alot EU people cant get those NCoins cards. Me for example. Still, i now saw on shout 7 USD für 110KK Adena +5% and ofc 2k coins are great. but what if some1 already got like 20K coins? i mean what will you need later on? vitality items? the few runes, which works on highlvl? other headgears? =P When i see R grade +6 2 handed, double SA, 300 element for 1,2KKK which are around 70 USD. What would any fresh 85 think to do? getting 6K NCoins + 3 BEWR or such a weapon? i never bought any adena and i never will. i rather to play slowly and regular with the runes, than "donating" any items with illegal adena.

I think NCsoft is working out something for EU players, I think it's a matter of getting a vendor for them. I know the cards aren't being offered online,but maybe it will change. I'm sure there is a reason why EU can't get the cards yet.
I have to wonder if the whole selling the Eu rights to Innova has anything to do with the fact they can't sell NC Coins in EU?? Not saying it is, just my guess.
