I currently am returning to L2 and I have decided to go Tyrr since I have 2 accounts, the only problem is im not sure which would be better to play. Im focusing on a pure DD build
I wanted to go duelist because im more into duals and i wanted to keep duelist spirit/sonic barrier for more pvp oriented
Titan is ok also, hp size and invincible, but they use 2 handed swords which also does decent damage from olympiads i seen
Now the only thing stopping me from choosing is figuring out which does more damage? Duelist Spirit with duals? or 2 Handed with berzerk?
Anyone who kept duelist spirit give opinions? and same for Orc Tyrrs with 2 handed about which does more damage
Orc can use 2h or dual sword, coz tyrr has affinity for both. Orc race itself is irrelevant on the weapon choice. Also you will ultimately loose duelist spirit on the next update.

You can forget about duelist spirit or frenzy skills, cause in next month(s) they will be removed automatic after new update. Pick which racial u like more and what to look at.
Frenzy skill is just a S**** now...Titan is the weakest Tyrr. It's cool when use 2-handed swords but Titan is useless....I hope they give back the Frenzy Skill, with more power, like x 5 Patk when HP below 30%....

It seems as you never played Tyrr...
All melee damage dealers that Awake as Tyrr are same, the only thing that separates them are Racial Skills, and items they own of course.
Frenzy is one of the skills that is replaced for a way, way better buff called Berserker Rage.
And all weapons are good for Tyrr, it just depends on playstyle...
of course I know all Tyrr are same, but the awakeniong system make Titan lost their name and their proud... I love the old time when Titan still have Frenzy with x3 Patk...
I hope in the next Awakening Diversification, They will give back the Old Frenzy for Tyrr Titan and New frenzy with x5 or x6 Patk, beside the Berserker Rage....

Honestly 5x patk + berserker rage. Imo it's just a wish for a easy pawnage char ;)
At all i think the coming ORC Titans will be a pain again in Oly. Depends how the new Tyrr Diversification will be. Just imagine Rabit + Frenzy + Orc Celestial + Orc Racial Savage. But till we see the class splitting it will be mid/late 2013 i guess.
One more thing, Orcs and Dual Blunts? Rly? Either 2h Sword Focus/Haste or Dual Swords Haste/Health and ofc Pole pvp wise.
Maybe in the future they change apperance tyrr orcs when use dual swords or dual bluns, because this class were not made to use this weapons and now looks horrible.
My Orc just 84 and not be Tyrr yet...but my friend played a Tyrr Titan...and he use Dual blunt.
My god, Orc male warrior with dual blunt look super-gay (my friend actualy gay too :rolleyes:), but he like to use it cause it have good crit dam and skill power, he said...
Imagine Tyrr Titan with Old Frenzy...Tyrr Dualist with skill that have 100k or 150k power...Tyrr Dreadnought with skill can do serious damage in range 900 around him, Tyrr Tyrant with skill can double effect of any Spirit he uses....
Its good your friend is actualy gay, then its easier to call his gimped Tyrr gay, and that isnt in a sexual way. His reason for picking dual blunt is pointless, and it is truely the most worthless weapon a tyrr can use.
For starters. Yes blunts do have a better crit dmg, but u need to crit in order to have any advantage with that. Blunts have the same gimped crit rate as fists, next to nothing. So in order to get the same crit rate as +4 dual swords u need x2 istina while using blunt, where for sword u can take aq, baium, earth or octavis with 15% crit dmg(this will amount to more dmg then blunt)
Then we come to SA selection: Focus, Guidiance, dmg up.
Well focus is really the only option here couse u have to make up for the rubish base focus, other 2 are kinda pointless, but u gonna one more for pvp dmg bonus from dual sa. Also non of the SA options are pvp minded. Dual sword haste+health is far better for pvp.
Lastly the +4 bonus. low patk bonus and 118 p.skill atk. I mean omg....yes lets add 118 patk to out 20k skills its such a huge difference. dual swords gets +18 patk and 27 crit rate. 2hs sword gets 86patk and fists get atk speed and patk. again blunts have the worst bonus.
Weapons for tyrr is simple really:
Polearm is a must, this is the most versitile weapon tyrr gets, needed for pve and pvp. S90 pole +++++ with health aint a bad option really, couse the R grade SA just sux.
Then u have to deside your other weapons.
PVP: Dual swords R and above. haste + health.(Also a desent pve weapon, but lacks abit of crit to get 500 with bear)
PVE: here is the selection abit bigger, depending on the size of your bankroll.
R+: 2hs with haste and focus. Really a nice dmg dealer for single target, loses 10% aoe dmg vs duals, and lacks health for pvp, lower crit rate then s80.
S80: alot of ppl dont look at s80 weapons for strange reasons. couse frankly they are just better. Top and mid s80 weapons are truely awsome for tyrr, and really underrestimated. They are cheap to buy, specialy if u can get something like +7-8 u get a really good value. They got Imba crit rate. S80 duals has 109 crit date + 10% hp, so nice for pvp(if u only can afford 1 weapon). 2hs(top) has 134 crit rate, at +15 same patk as as +0 specter, but alot more crit rate. The pvp option is cheap 5% pvp dmg(sa + pvp is same as dual sa on R grade), and the pvp skill lands on top players(cancel dont work though, can only cancel old buffs).
Ofc when u hit 99 u gonna have to rethink your option with the new enchantments for R99 weapons. but we have to get there first really
@DaisyDuck Check the stats on a R grade dual blunts ... they have absolutely the same critical rate as duals and blunts have more Accuracy ! I tryed every weapon and so far duals HP (+future haste) are the best weapon for tyrr .. btw dont get confused by the passive skills info both single and dual weapon mastery give same stuff...
