When I make a movie, I cant view it. I know how to get to it, but I get a error when I try to play it. Is there something I need to download to view it. like a different player of some kind?

You can only watch tbe movies from witjin the game client. At the logn screen look for the Replay button snd click it and you will see your movies.

Be aware that there are two kind of ways to record ingame, one version is what is called a replay and can only be viewed with the game client as Piotress mentioned.
The other one saves a .avi file for you to open in a regular media player.
If I recall correctly, there's the button for the regular recording in the action panel. I recall using it to record something random, and ended up with .avi raw footage of over 1 GB just for 12 minutes of recording >.>
