Event for people who cheated in order to get thier levels, you guys should start consider what is going on the server because boting for level hes evolved into a way to get real money by farming adena, leveling characters till lvl 99 and selling them on ilegal websites! yeah guys thats it right now u give another chance to ilegal people to get item which will end on e-bay websites but who the hell cares about it, its Event and the worst thing the event cant be done by people who are playing in legit way you i am happy NcSoft sloved the problem with RMT spams but from where RMT comes? from legit style of playing? Every character in the command channel of the raid party that completes the fastest successful Tauti Raid (normal mode) on their server during the event period will receive a Tauti’s Treasure Chest

Not a logical note, there will be only one fastest raid even if people finish it multiple times. And even if by some crazy chance two top raids have the exact same time, I guess the raid that sets that time first would win the prize.
Part 2 of the event was already a failure, featuring a campaign almost noone knows anything about, and those who know a bit argue about if it is bugged and can even be completed. Tell us, did any server manage to finish this event successfully, or did darkness clans "win" on all servers like I expect, because even with the event people couldn't be bothered to do the campaign?

I have played 2 hours in the last 5 days. I think the cheating is getting too much for me to bear. People run farmbot groups for months and milk the earnings to their main chars, and when bots get banned, the botter MAIN CHARS obviously do not. My last break from the game lasted from 2007-2011. I wonder if L2 will still be around after I took my next break once I am too disgusted with cheaters to log in anymore.

In last event - chrad under lvl 9 receive xp bost, char higher 90 - nothing. New event - char higher 97 can go and kill raid, char under 97 - nothing. A questio: when will be a event for lvl 1-10? or lvl 50-60.
MAke all event for evryone, all people can have some fun not this char or this char. L2 was changed in bad way in last year. Maybe is a good idee to fiind other friendly game and team?

I'll pay boost exp items when NC solve the problem with bots (pvp and pve). Bots playing 24/7 with posts in boards, petition in petition system (screenshots with all names, time, location, date, server), bot report in game and..... bot still boting.
When I kill this bots with my permared the same player of the first line in this post appear and kill you permared.

Guys I did calculate something. Many of the forum users from here who always make QQ for everything everyday are the enemies of themselves.
If we calculate, that you all 85+ and most of you spend on the forum with reading, writing totally everyday minimum 1 hour it is 365 hours in a year, so mostly u waste 365 hours to do nothing.
Under 365 hours you could get about 200billion XP (without xp boost in solo), what for enough this XP?
You can make with it from lvl 96 00.00% to lvl 97 00.00%.
Also thats why many of you never get higher amount of event items, because spend all of your time here.
I'm legit player, but closing to level 98. Mainly, because I spend my free time not with write useless comment everyday under 1 or more hours. I go and XP, I'm able to use much better my Rune of XPs and ofc anyway too get higher amount of XP.

I'm afraid we do not have any updates to share on this matter. NCsoft West has done all we can about getting a fix; other territories are seeing this issue as well and they are waiting for a fix as well. The developers are aware of the issue and it will be fix, but at this rate I suspect it may be lumped into our next game update (not too far off, fortunately). As soon as we have an update about this we will let you know. :o

If you're having login issues it could be any number of things. Check the account creation guide to see if you've missed a step. Makes perfect sense, give the market for tauti rings a slight boost (chances are probably low to get it) while not removing the novelty of it. With the 1% drop rate or w/e it will take years before they will circulate on servers even if the majority of players were 97+
My own opinion is that it is about time that they have an event aimed at end game, it is just too bad there aren't more people to compete with.
lol I know plenty who play a "couple hours" a day and are not 97.
It's possible if he meant an "average of two hours a day" with a good constant party and vit items + exp runes.
If you consistently played only 2 hours each day, it would be very difficult to have much leveling efficiency since you won't be able to find an exp party very fast and waste lots of time forming your party and porting there.

You simply made that up. Fact is, many L2 players bot. A much higher number of botters is high level than low level. People often complain about the highlevel botters, but they rarely (if at all) make posts saying "all highlevel players bot". If someone writes about "highlevel botters" it does not mean every highlevel bots. It means he is talking about those highlevels that do, and not about those that don't.

Of coarse you would blame the lower level legit for being on the forum more, that's the only insult in the book left. It also depends on your server, I'm on magmeld and the activity there is pretty low not to mention the majority of the players are from private servers who can't manage to wait 10 mins to complete a party so the drop it for the kartia. Or you get a group up for Gog or harnaks and every 15 mins someone has to leave and if it's the tank or healer you gotta stop. Some people like ME work, in fact I have two effen jobs. Do I blame that on others? No, but I don't appreciate being told it's because I can't be efficient when clearly being a big girl gets in the way of my game time. Case in point. Just because you can't do it, everyone who can is obviously a bot. You completely ignored what my post actually said because you just want to be argumentative.
Fact: A reliable constant party allows you to maximize your time xping : time spent in game ratio.
Fact: If you rely mostly on pick-up groups, odds are you will not level as quickly as someone with a constant given the same amount of time.
If you have very limited playtime due to work (I have a full time job)/school/kids/etc, there's nothing wrong with that. I made no criticism of anyone who falls into this category. If that statement describes your play time and you do not have a good constant for the little time you can play, you will be low level. It is as simple as that.

The term 'lower level legit' means nothing to me. Legit is legit, regardless of level. I'm high level and legit, so there. Fun fact: there are far, far more low level bots than there are high level bots in this game.

hours upon hours? really? how is that possible when most of the day I'm working? I don't have access to a PC at work. I am not oblivious to how the game works. You obviously have more time because someone else is saddled with your responsibilities. I don't get to flop my *** down in front of my PC when I get home while someone else does everything else for me. I work full time and run a side business so therefore I don't spend hours upon hours on the forums. Multi-task yes I do that a lot and while I play.

a) "Highlevel" and "Level 99" is not an equivalent. There are many highlevels (which of course is an entirely subjective and relative term) but there are very few level 99s. VERY few. So a statement that a level 99 is not legit does not equal a statement that every highlevel is not legit.
b) A bot is something else than a botter. A bot is a character controlled by a bot program. A botter is a person controlling/owning characters that are bots. Yes, most bots are not highlevels. But most BOTTERS are highlevels. They use bots (for example in Giants Cave and Monastery of Silence) to get money for armor/weapons/dyes etc. for their main character. The main character may only bot sometimes or have only botted in the past, or even have not botted at all. They still are botters and not legit.
I personally know of many level 95+ people who own multiple ISS characters to keep multiple bots buffed while they are farming the hell out of the usual places. When you kill their bots repeatedly, they will sometimes get angry and mentor-summon themselves to kill you.

I understand perfectly the evils of this game and so do a lot of others. People's attitudes lately have been an expression of frustration towards NCsoft's approach to the bots and cheating in game. People are sick of them being catered to with events that do nothing but benefit bots and cheaters even more. I agree with Rangur most of the high level people cheat in some form or another for personal gain. If you don't think people cheat to get 95+ then clearly you're blind or in denial.

It's more common that people cheat to get their levels than not, that is why it's said so much. It's just a fact and it's not being ignorant. It's in plain sight every day. I facepalm when I read responses from folks who think that most high levels are legit.

I tend to just stick with my own affairs in game. The fact is if I worried about every player on the server I shouldn't bother playing then.

I don't know of one that is completely clean. Now, it's easier to jump on the boards, brag their disposable income, and claim legitimacy because of vitality items being sold in store, but this is a relatively new development.
What about all the previous chronicles? How would you explain all these guys that had billions of adena, +30 maxxed out skills, highly over-enchanted weapons, lucky in all their pursuits, and just happen to be gods of pvp? It's one thing to find a person that's good at the market and able to make money. It's one thing to find a person that's good at maximizing his leveling. It's one thing to find a person that's been lucky on a few enchants. It's one thing to find a person that is skilled at pvp. But to find a person that's good at all of them, let alone entire clans of people like this is just slightly beyond belief.

Example, aoe darkness a few years ago. Make strong xp and few bil from the quest (when ews were 100m each and you could get 1-2 a day). Get awesome gear, solo chimeras. Use friends titan to solo aoe whatever that tower in hellbound is called and make a few hundred divinestones a day = make several billion in short time. Gear yourself even better, get infinite sp, oe skills, win olympiad get even more adena, give clan hero advantage, win all fights for raids, get exclusive access to boss jewels for clan, keep everyone else fighting for scraps while your clan shares 90% of the servers resources.

Once you do orbis you level even faster not to mention hellfire which is silly fast. All you need is a group of players who stayed on par with yourself and have the resources to oe skills and get good gear from before. This game has always been easy if done right

There are exceptions,but you're the very few of them. You fall into the outside most people botted to get 95+ category. Some people wanted it faster than you and did that.
Most got to 97+ simply becoz they did not care about their gear, ever.
They run a group of 85 chars at LOA, get over 200kk per day, so they don't need to do instances..obviously these ladies just do grind outside while their shady group is the moneymaker, why do instances if you are getting 1b per week?
They focus on pure grind outside with no drops, just for XP. Maybe their main char wasn't botted, but they do cheat anyway.:) Afterall why you only focus outside but don't farm instances for drops? cause you dont need drops.
