I'd like to know (from high level healers 90+, 95+, I'm 87) if they use
macros beyond "self-celestial" , "buffs" and "fairy-tanker" ? Something
like %party1 + skill + skill, etc
well, I was to post my macro system to you, but I realised that each healer have your own playstyle, i.e: I reserve f1-f4 to basic heals ('cause I can reach that button without even looking at it, in fact), while my clanmate use f10-12 to basic heals, such panic, progressive and more.
I have some macros on my skillbars, but I have the skill in it too, 'cause the party sytem after awakening is a whole different from before: if someone in party screw smtg, they WILL SCREW everything to the hell, then even if I can click a macro fast, I have the need to control that skill by myself, in a emergency situation. And basically, I use 3 skillbars configuration: party play (only heals and debuffs on it); solo play (attack spells, assist for lumi, debuffs, macro for selfheal) and kartia/instance solo play (a mixed of macro heals/ macro debuffs, lumi assist and attack spells).
Make the macros that you feel confortable with it, but without letting all the control on the automated toon.
