Elf Iss Dyes for Olympiad

Hey so far im leaning on taking dex dyes or strength dyes. Any rec of what dyes i should be using for Olympiad ? What stat should i take away from when i am buffing str or agi with dye . Ty i am lvl 86 iss enchanter

I would lean to suggest STR and CON dyes, since your DEX is quite high. Maybe another elven ISS can give better insight.

Don't use dex dyes on an ISS, it's pointless. Str is the usual pick for enchanters; however, I have heard of con and wit builds, while using a shield and one handed wep. With knights and +con you should get a decent amount of shield defense, and then some add in 1 slot of +wit for debuff rates and cast speed. I have not tried the latter myself, though I could see it being especially beneficial next update when they make it so you have to have a shield to use knights. If you wanted to try it, then I would suggest buying cheap dyes from AH (like +4 -3 or some crap) and see what the shield defense rate works out to for you. If you like it then get better tats.

On a side note, Str controls how hard you hit and also how often your skills crit. I have 131 str, and I hit hard for an ISS, but it's still not DD dmg. It's a good build, but it's always good to explore alternatives.

Can you please elaborate on that? WIT affects landing rates of debuffs?

As a LE iss in Oly who does pretty well but gets ***** by retri :P I went all STR dyes, but the cheap ones (3 +4 str -2dex)

Dex.... completely useless for a ISS in my opinion, CON but I didnt like it. I have not tried WIT but with spiritshots on I feel that I cast debuffs fast enough but have no idea about success rate of them cuase I have not tried WIT tats.

I first went with Con dyes, didnt like it nor noticed a big enough difference, then tried STR and noticed a huge difference. Shoulda gone DE :P for two reasons: 1) more str 2) **** racial that removes debuffs and renders you untargetable for 5 seconds.

Huge advantage in OLY but I still have fun.

could be wrong but imo that's also influenced by your Patt which STR does boost ofc with crit multiplier break points when having certain amount of STR.. just saying having high oe weapons prolly helps a lot as well :)

on 86 lvl You also have chance start exp De elf, if you want oly on Iss. Disparition overpower here.
