Well guys here is a new class system that could balance, restore the fun and make this game more enjoyable. This are all posts that i did, and now i would like to compact in this thread:
I am an old member of lineage 2 that left the game because of this aweaking system (and other reasons). But for me the most eficent way to make a fun, balaced and enjoyable way to play and restore the classes system of the old lineage 2, is to instead of having, for example, 1 class for all mages a few diferent clases related from the old aweaking class. Here is an exaple of what i mean:
Human Mage---Human Wizard----Sorcerer----Archmage----Feoh Wizard?? NOO!
Feoh Wizard can be divided in 4 diferent clases like: Fire Master, Water Mage, Air Stormer and Earth Wizard (names can change, this is only an example).
Each of this class can have a unique role for asisting, dealing damage, tanking (wtf a mage tanking?? YES!), debuffing, etc. But with the characteristics of a mage. You will think, but if i can tank with a mage why tanks exist in this game?
Im not telling that you will replace a tank with a mage, no. Think of a being a mage but with more defensive skills than others mages. You will stay being a mage but with more defence than the other mage classes.
(Resume: Instead of having 1 class option for your final class tranfer, you can have a few respecting of what you were in your 3rd class)
Another Example with healers:
Are you tired of just healing, healing, healing and healing. Well i suggest of doing somthing like this: (this is only an exaple)
Insted of having an Aeore Healer you can have 3 diferent final classes like this ones:
-Necro Healer: A healer with dark magic that can support by healing and can deal more damage than other healer classes.
-Divine Healer: A healer with light magic that can heal huge amounts of hp and apply mini buffs to allies (mini buffs are like Boons in guild wars 2)
-Mana Helaer: A healer with a big quantity of MP. This class can steal MP from enemies and use it to support allies. Moreover, can have skills that heal mp from allies or something like that.
See that each of the healer classes that i showed to you have a diferent type of role in the game and a healer would be more enjoyable to play than the old healer. Also you have to think that the haler will continue being a healer but with a unique system.
Another awesome thing about this system is that 2nd & 3rd classes can teach you how to use the class and then in your 4th class tranfer you will decide wich type of class you are good to play with and wich you will enjoy the most.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Continuing, i would like to add this:
Race unique skills, this may cause more job all the staff of L2 but can be a great system to make sence why there are different types of races in the game.
My proposal is to, instead of all the races having the same skills for all the classes, it can change by changing the most important skills of the class depending of the race. Here is an example:
Like in the last post I did, it shows that a Necro Healer deal more damage than other healer, so if that class has a skill that do damage, a Dark Elf could do 400 damge but a Elf can do 200 damage and a 2 second stun with the same skill.
See, that little changes can make a race being unique.
You can also change the skill animation depending on the race, this can make a best experience in the game.
You can also apply this system to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, you suggest something like the class system WoW has."
No, I suggest dividing the aweaking clases into 3 or 4 new classes for each class type (wizard, warrior, healer, etc.) and making have an uniqunes respecting the 3rd class they had before. Example:
If I was a StormScreamer and i want to be a Air Stormer you will have, Characteristics of the StormScreamer + Characteristics of a Wizard + The uniquenes of your race + Characteristics of the Air stormer (Wind Damage + Debuffs), the same with other classes.
Is like adding a + route to your 3rd class. You will be a wizard with the uniquenes of your 3rd and 4th class. So your 3rd class will work and it wont be wasted like now with the aweaking classes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"But it would be really bad to see an elf healer use dark attacks (because he can be "necro healer")."
Yeah that could be a problem, but I think the solution for that is to depending the class you are you wont be able to choose 1 or 2 classes. Example:
Elf healers could choose Divine Healer & Mana Healer but not Necro Helaer, DE Healers could choose Necro Healer & Mana Healer but not Divine Healer, Human Healers can choose Divine or Necro but not mana. Like that with all classes and races.
Another thing I can add is that you can combine your uniquenes of your race with the class. If you are a Mana Healer Kamael, you can absorb mana and stay with it like the Soul System.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I hope somone of the staff can have the time to read this post and send me a Private Message telling me in what im wrong and i will try to improvise the system. Remember that this is just a simple option to give an idea.
PD: Sorry for my bad english, all the classes names I invented are just examples.

I can tell you, where you are wrong: your proposition would cause even more mess, and ballance problems than previous 34 classes, basically squandering anything, that was achieved with GOD and what the L2 dev team is aiming for.
Also, necro healer... seriously, way to make a gimped char. How many healers do you think would want more damage as their main advantage? You are an "old member" and you didn't take any lessons from popularity of shillen elders, phantom summoners, hierophants, shillen knights etc, just wanting to make more classes that noone will want to play or play with?
Game design is more, than adding "cool stuff" to the game, seriously.
I've actually always secretly wished for another race....like an undead. Then give it all the diff professions ie: healer, melee, nuker, tank, w/e. I've got other things on my private wishlist too (races/classes), but imo an undead race would be cool.

TBH, this is all feels generic from other games, it's not taking into count old L2 at all...
Puting names like Fire Master, Water Mage, Air Stormer, etc just would scare people away even more, they want their signature class back.
YES! someone who could understand what i mean!!! :)
The rest are just reading the names that i put as EXAMPLES!!
I wont ask the L2 game designers to put the names, skills, or anything I want.
Just focus on the idea guys.

How many of you want to be a healer supporting your team, but at the same time fight a few noobs?
Also, how many of you like lvl up normally with a healer?
And i have to say again that Im not saying that i want classes like that, they are just examples to get the idea of my proposal.
The role of a healer should be the role of a supporter. You can't do efficiently both support and damage if you're busy keeping your team up, or trying to get everyone killed because you like nuking. (By the way, the Laksis Disc skill is supposed to do exactly this, but from what I read it's one of the bugged lv 99 skills.)
If you like killing stuff, better roll a true damage dealing mage, or not?

You can help (support) your team by dealing damage to the enemy and killing them faster.
And I think the majority of the critics were from the "Necro Healer" that is just mentioned that is an EXAMPLE!

Around zero I quess. Anyway support classes having low (or zero) offensive abilities was always part of L2 flavour, and was never part of the problem. You know, DDs get all the glory, but supports get 3 party invites 5 seconds after log in.

Healer, along with tank are two classes that have least problems with leveling... also I wonder what you mean by "level normally".

They are examples of the way you are thinking, and show how much clue you have about the game.

My criticsm was from memories of unbalanced and unneeded classes, spending hours searching for live swordsinger (I started to belive, that such thing, as live swordsinger doesn't exist at all), or from playing DD and beeing jealous, that every other DD can do his job better.
I say yes to diversified classes, but no to the mess we had before. I don't want my healer (which is 6 years old character by the way) to become not wanted, because of some significant differences between classes causing one of them much better, or worse - I don't want to deal with the crap, that i.e. shillen elders were dealing with for years before GOD. And you propose exactly that thing.
