The new raiding system seems to be a great add to the game for fast lvling to 85. Though if this system is focused on players below lvl 85 wouldnt be better to add protection to the raids from 85+ chars. Raids near 80 lvl are usually killed by awakened chars who just do it for fun or to prevent others from killing them and without having any profit from it, drops or xp..:(
Well plain old farm also works. After all spending six-seven more days on leveling to 85 ain't that much for a game you need to farm like a madman for months to reach endgame ;)
Maybe they should revamp more bosses (theres quite a few unchanged) and lower their respawn time taking in mind they're only field raids and e.g. the raid at guillotine fortress respawn in like half the time these ones take (sadly don't know of any other since aside from the dark queen theres no open field boss till 95 afaik), plus there should be more pre-awakened characters than awaken ones (alts, subs and new people).
lately I can find some raids very easy (I guess some ppl just miss the locations from them or just never cared about to try them, at all), the hard part comes when I plan to form a group and to get people in range. Very, very disappointing.

There is protection that higher lvl ppl can't kill these raids. Always have been.
If 85+ awaken toons kills lvl 80 raids, it is just fine. If you can't kill these raids, then you go kill some lower lvl ones.

Not sure, but I think he meant that those raids are hardly farmed by awakened characters, and you know, even a broken awakened party can take them down with a hand in the back, the way non-awakened couldnt, though.

And? Like I said, there is lower lvl raids he can do.
Also I highly doubt awakened toons go there just to screw with him. I suspect it's more like they have a non-awakened toon in party and they're boosting him. Simple as that.
Anyway the mass hysteria of doing those will be over sooner or later, even if not I still maintain that even if you're dramatically unlucky in Shakespearian dimensions of tragicness, you still can... I don't know... farm 85 in a week . And since it's not like you'll hit 99 in a month or two or three it's not such a major blow to your ambitions to rule them all...
I personally see no reason for respawn time adjustments or additional protections. Leveling to 85 is already a joke and even 90 and 95 ain't that hard and can be done casually in short period of time so please please don't simplify it even more. New people already join hit 86 and leave because it's too hard . If they lower the respawns and make leveling even easier the progression curve will become even more ridiculous.
Colorful picture of pony raiding to cheer all the gloomy faces:
And i have to agree with you about the lvling curve. I mean they are all lil scared about the 85 -> 86 "grind"
And once they hit 86 many are desperate
One of my top 10 WTF moments:
Mentee of me hit 86. 1 Day later he asked me if i can pwlvl him cos the grind is soo hard and xping is too slow. I just answered "do you think xp you will speed up the 90+ grind of me?" .... No answer and silence. Shown offline for few months now in my friendlist.
There is some serious failure with the 2x XP buffs + Mentor Buffs and hitting 86, starting to care about buffs + "grind"

I can't find any raid bosses to kill from 75 up. They are being camped and scouted like crazy. I guess you just have to be lucky.
yeah right, we can't find boss lv 75+ and never see boss 80+ =))
@soarin: a clannie of mine just went from 72 (scratched sub) to 78 with just 1 raid, then toke some powerlevel, made 85 in the same day and is already knocking the door to 86.
It wont late be the day when ppl will kill a mob in RoYS and will ding to 50, kill another and ding to 85 and its done. seriously, I just laughed and smashed one more chococookie in my mouth when he told me that in clan chat.

With all honesty, WTF is NC thinking ???
They should stop such "!$&!§$& and simply let everyone start at lvl 85...
Cos sadly it seems that that is their goal....

Well i knew you could make 40-75 in 1 day, but from 72 to 78?!?
Before change Solo raid lvl 35 @ orc lvl 35:
- 2 min
- Fool drops
- 60% of level
After change:
- 25 min
- Nice drops (a lot!)
- 7 levels and 28%
Before change Solo raid lvl 72 @ orc lvl 76:
- 4 min
- Fool drops (parts only or nothing)
- 0,10% of level
After chnge:
- 32 min
- Nice drop (3 full drops)
- 4. levels and 17%
In the point of view of "raid system" the new changes come to get back the raids in game. Now is common action see in party matching players looking for groups to exp based in raids, thats cool.
I like the new focus on the RB's...but hard to find any up sometimes. They should speed up the respawn, and maybe put it in your "/instancezone" for the day, so others can play too.
@yunalesca: the ones from varka's area (mos, shaddith, horus), since all of them are 80+. being 72, he still was in range ( +/- 9 lvl of diff) and almost in the party was 85. I just told this 'cause it matched to what the OP was complaining. For a lvl 85 isnt that much xp, but this system allow you to powerlevel in a way more, a lot more efficient than before. Right now, ppl have cameras-chars camping all those bosses 24/7 in bartz ( even in ketra, too)
So can anyone explain how this system works to me? Is it actually worth rolling a good raid party of subs in my CP and just doing raids, or is warlord aoe/warcryer still fastest?
I do a RB lvl 30 solo with iss buff on a kamel lvl 22 stuff with item quest ....
35-40 min later he up lvl 35 with 7 full drop, 1 bead and 6 ead ....
its long but funny XD
now for HL RB its littel bit crazy, look yesterday,
hellman pop at a regulary IG time... 2h of morning and 5 full team waiting for him ...
for a rb lvl 83 at FOW ... 2 team wait more then 2h
there is a probleme i think, and its not funny waiting so long for rb cause you already know he willn't stay in life more then 1 min.
i think the best way for this probleme (RB 70+) is spawn RB at regulary time but 3-4 RB have to pop in same time...like that ppl willn't wait so longue, other have chance to participate and ther willn't be 5 team on eatch pop
other good thing can be, no XP lost on RB field, like that many more pvp on field for them...its already that, but i dont want see kaotik char just for protect rb

The main problem with the raids is finding one, but once you find it I doubt anything can make that much exp in the time it takes to kill one, e.g. my 79 sub killed a 75 raid in a 6 man party and I got 50%, a friend killed a 70 (5 man party) and a 72 (6 man party) at level 77 and got 80%.
I know exactly at wath time IG he spawn, its not at night, its at the same IG hours every time, so every body is here...
so yes, IG it was 00.00 and IRL 2 in morning...
wath the probleme ?
the ingame day/night work like this: 4h in total, from what 3h to daytime, and 1h to nighttime (ofc, those are RL hours), then if, and only IF, no one has killed Von Hellman, lets say, through the whole day, he can re-spawn till in a total of 6x during our daily 24 hours.
It didnt mean he has to be up everyday at 2AM, as you say.

^ This.
I was wondering why someone would need to wait till 2 AM to raid Hellmann, if you need to wait just 3 real life hours to retry the raid...
