Thank you for putting the Emerald Weapon Stones in the L2Store. They look far and away much better than the normal Dama-Tallum duals.
PS: FYI. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not...and if it is, DON'T fix it...but the emerald stone still glows red, not green, on +16 and higher enchanted weapons.
But like I said, I like it, so don't patch it if it is a glitch. Well, not unless "the fix" is to change the glow to purple similar to Mace Windu's sabre. :cool:
There are no donations on official servers. People who won the event got them for free, the rest have to pay what 15-20$? Carry on.

If you think that way, than people who play private servers are not donating. Donating is doing something without looking for a reward, by Dictionary standards.

Indeed, private servers just use the donation system to avoid taxes.

Only the appearance changes, you won't lose any pre-existing stats from the weapon or anything like that.
Though I think if you add anything to the weapon after you put the appearance stone on it then it will go back to normal....say like if you change the appearance then put an augment on it, goes back to normal.

When you buy something you are not donating but making an exchange. Presumeably when the exchange is voluntary on both sides everyone is better off after the exchange whereas with donations only the side receiving the donation is better off.
Just because someone is calling it a donation doesn't mean the government has to recognize it as such.

2- The money is tax-free, meaning that they don't have to pay taxes on what they gain by hosting a private server and making players pay for in-game goods and benefits.

1) NCSoft could sue them but does not becuase they deemed it not worth the time and expense. The fact that they call it a donation is irrelevent to the actual transaction that occurs.
2) You need to be qualified as a non profit in order to achieve tax exempt status and even then the nonprofit may not be exempt from all taxes.
For example beggars still need to pay taxes on the money they collect from begging providing it comes to more than a certain amount even though everything they receive is still a "donation".

you still want to keep playing lineage right?...well my friend there are people working on it for your funn... that people don't work for free....is like you going on your job for free ...i don't think you enjoy it that much... i donate like 10 usd every month so is like telling i want to play more... is not like donating 50 $ but is what i can spend
