Seems like a lot of stuff, but actually, if you're not familiar with the game (or the changes made to the game, in case you played other chronicles previously), and since the client takes a bit of time to install and update, you can start playing while being already informed about it. You'd be surprised to know how many people ignore the existence of the main site and keep coming to the boards asking questions that can be answered by simply taking the time to read a bit. The game doesn't run away while you do so!
I suggest to start with the server selection page (http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/getting-started/how-to-play/), since it'll be your very first choice.
Ha, ill start taking a look ^^, as for the server, does it matter? I only wrote in forums to start of by making some friends not for help to play, but ill read the guides, itll help me:0 ty, I decided to go for naia since its 1hour behind me and has a lot of players (eu also)
I said that about the server selection because lots of people come here asking where to play or where to find lots of [insert random nationality here] players, when it can be guessed by looking at the servers time zones :P
If you look for GMs for bug or bot reports, don't expect them to show up on the boards: it's not their job. Instead, they can be found only here: https://lineage2.custhelp.com/app/ask/
Just remember to try using search before posting something, because 80% of the time it's a question or a matter that has already been beaten to death :P
Last but not least: not many players actively participate in the boards. Just expect most of them to not even know/care the forum exists.
