During the last weekend the Olympiad on Chronos was broken due to the Oly Manager not spawning before the start of the match (on random occasions). I know it used to happen before, it's a very old bug but this time it looked like an epidemy.
Come on, this bug has been known since many chronicles ago, but the developers just do not care.
Let me guess, maybe it is not directly related to the Oly mechanism, and it's rather associated with NPC server misfunction (you know, sometimes all npc's on the server disappear for a few seconds or minutes). If so, why don't they implement a simple fix: if the Oly manager is missing, the fight gets auto-canceled?
I could also mention a few other Olympiad-related issues that need to get fixed:
- a bug when summons do not port to the arena;
- a rare bug when a player's HP gets cut in half right when the match starts.
And, of course, the drawing system is simply broken: I lost count how many times a player with 1 point (or a few points) had to fight someone with 500+ points. I guess the developers just didn't bother to compile a proper arranging algorithm, and put it like this:
"if both players are below 1000 points it's a fair match!"
