PT to Powerlevel to 85

Hey there,

me and some friends are planning to level together from 40 lvl to 85 level. After this we're all gonna split up cause everyone of us has different goals ingame.

So..there are 7 of us, NO Mentor (and i think we dont want/get one), and we're not gonna take anyone else in the party.

NOTE: We are planning to do close-attack-range melee party ONLY. No archer, no mage.

So there are two different setups we thought of. If there are any suggestions, additions or better ideas, please let us know.


Setup 1:

1) Tank (SK)
2) Buffer (WC)
3) Dancer (BD)
4) Healer (Bishop)
5) Healer (EE)
6) DD (Destroyer)
7) DD (Doombringer)

Setup 2:

Replace the Tank with another Destroyer, Dagger, Tyrant.


What u think? Do you think this party even gonna last in the hardest exp zones? Is this setup appropriate for powerleveling?

What I think is that leveling up from 40 to 85 is a solo mission. Making parties and not having a mentor is a complete waste of time.

You should level up solo until 85 and then level up as a party. The opposite of what you said :D

85+ is boring as **** solo, pre 85 is pretty much solo.

40-85 can be done in 1-2 Days.

Step One: Get the mentor.
Step Two: Do all Daily quests (Good for adena and exp)
Step Three: Watch the Party Matching for raidbosses your lvl.
Step Four: Levels 63-79 Do Von Hellmann raid, spawns every 4 hours. Amazing exp.

Other then that happy grinding. I suggest each one of you box a Warcryer to become a ISS for 85+

What is this raid and where is it :)
i take it since it spawns every 4 hour it is busy to get in on it?

Why would you not want a mentor ? that makes no sense. +200% xp, bahhh who needs that. Real men grind it out.

You want PT to POWERlevel to 85, but you don't want mentor.
