Halloween Pumpkin GM Event

Seems like only high lvl peeps with good gear benefit from this event. You cant out damage somebody with a +15/16 r95/r99 weapon.

Thats good.
High level event is better than low level event like draco event, when tons of bots appear in servers to farm adena and expand RMT.

New players need hunt.

Everybody should benefit from these events not just the select few. lets make the rich richer right ?

This event is garbage, you cant even get a mob. Every town is camped.

Pumpkins (“Norhand”) will spawn in the following towns at regular intervals after the maintenance until midnight PDT:

Talking Island, Gludin, Gludio, Dion, Giran, Heine, Oren, Aden, Goddard, and Rune. (Schuttgart is not included)


Defeat them to earn many rewards:

Adena
Vesper Transformation Herbs
Attribute Stone/Crystals
Gemstones A/R
Soulshot/Blessed Spiritshots
Armor/Weapon Enchant Scrolls
Giant’s Energy
Halloween Cookies
And much more!


They will have extremely high P. def and M. def, so grouping is recommended. If you are in a party, make sure the loot settings are correctly set up so that you can receive loot.


And how do I participate as healer? when drops go to the party who make most damage? everyone will be looking for dds to party with......

Surely your clan will party with you to help you compete in the event!

Theres no point, even with organization .. lvl 99's with uber weapons random port around and out damage the mob before you even have a chance. and like only 4 spawn in town. There is a bot party in gludin just camping one spawn.

Edit: dont even attempt aden ... lol. Open farming events are much better .. everybody gets in on the action.

yup - it's a waste of time for most people.. I'm reasonably high level, and it sucks big time.

In place of this, I would prefer the GM's go out and delete some bots, but that's a whole other thread.

Lets just keep this thread about the event and how bad it is for anyone under 95. I was camping heine during the second announcement, it was empty for all but one 99 archer from FS. Second the announcement came on, 15 high lvls ported in and camped all the spots where they spawn. Everybody else has no chance in hell of getting a reward. I got 1 today and thats cause i was lucky and got in game just after the servers went up and had the good fortune to spawn beside one.

you guys need to stop complaining,i killed 25 pumpkins alone on my archer sub 85 with a bow+4. So everyone saying you need lvl 99 with +16 weapon are terrible at this game.

It was probably amazing event. For sure it was. And ofc all lvl 20 players participated with ease. Too bad i wasn't even able to log on, thanks for making gameguard work with windows 8. Too bad it does not support anything under it =/

never said i was better than everybody but im sure better than you since all you do is qqing on forum.

And if you read again, he could not get the items simply because spawn spots were camped by high level toons and bots. So its not something someone is doing wrong, its just the event itself that supports high end players more then others. And GG to you who killed xx number of event mobs. You sure had a lucky day, or if that was not the case, please tell me how pro you are and how you outdamage a bot party or high level toons with maxed out gear? Please, i beg of you.

you just have to be smarter than the other ppl and go for the 1 that are not farmed, there 6 to 10 spawn in every town so dont tell me there 10 bot group standing there in ALL the town cause this is not true.

im not part of any big clan and i manage to get 16 elemental crystal today(no cookies QQ!) from the pumpkins w/o any help.

They spawn town by town, which is kinda dumb. So first Gludin, then after a bit Dion and so on. Takes a while until it gets to Heine.

glad i waited up for that 1 group of 99's took all the pumpkins, even though i did damage to them I couldn't pick up any drops.

Way to make the 99's richer I am sure they needed the extra buffs too because they are not powerful enough.... /rolls eyes.

I find it completely (bad Word) when i do 90% of the damage on a pumpkin after ive been pounding away at it for like 5-10 minutes, then a dagger comes over, with just a tick left on it, and gets all the (sinners word) loot... wt-eff is up with that, clearly the event doesnt follow the original looting system, and ppl alt boxing the event, ya, that just makes me want to throw my money into this :/..... alotta good you (Blank) NC Soft (Another bad word) are doing if u can't get the job done right.... (horrible expletive) a monkey taking a dump playing DDR could (blank) do your job better :D...

He's just smarter then everybody else. Back to reality, i sat in the back of heine and camped one that nobody was around. Second the message came up the town was flooded with 99's spread out everywhere. Same with every town i tried. Personally i think you're full of crap about what you got. Post a SS of your catch for the day.

PS: this is where he jumps on his high lvl then switches to sub for the SS to enlarge his e-weiner

still this doesnt make any sense to me as on Naia there have been several pumkins I end up sharing the loot with randoms who also hit it even though I did most of the damage..

just saying even 97+ stacked chars can end up sharing stuff so I doubt it's much different for 99+

the only difference I can think of might be tied to who does the "last hit" cause if the system is that dumb that it's a combo of most damage + last hit = all drops then yeah ok lame..

Get yourself a decent party with an iss and six dds and fight. They're easy to camp. When the announcement appears, pumpkins spawn on Talking Island, then on other towns in order they're listed in the announcement.

In what way was it crappy? I got several element crystals from very minimal effort, seems like win to me
