Hello, recently just returned to the game and I have a stone of destiny. Was thinking that maybe when the time comes If I should change from Overlord/Dom or enchanter I guess to a wizard. Is orc a horrible race for wizard, from a pvp stand point?
I've heard orcs have a terrible m.atk compared to other races. From a damage-dealing standpoint, dark elves outshine(d) other races.
Orcs, on the other hand, have the racial passive invul.
Anyone else have any thoughts on orc wizards? I'm just not sure what I want to do to be honest. I will say this though, I do think orc mystics look awesome in robes. I just want to know how an orc wizard would fare in olympiad and just pvp in general.

How does awakening work with stone of destiny? The 3rd-class skills are taken from human race, right?. What about racial skills and base stats?
It would be strange to have a fighter stats, when awakening to wizard… and if one gets human wizard stats while awakening from orc enchanter, then m.atk is not orc-like but human-like. Right or wrong? :)

I would also like to know this, what happens to the pre-awakening classes? Do I get to somehow choose the human path or keep my overlord/dom ?
Only asking because I've been told they plan to do something with the pre-awakening classes?

An orc awakened as a Feoh with the SoD gets Archmage skills and Orc racial skills and base stats.
Characters awakened with the SoD aren't really copycats of the humans; they get their race's base stats according to the chosen class, warrior or wizard. Even Kamaels got their mage stats once the Soulhound was merged within the Feoh Wizard archetype...
So, basically, an orc Feoh has orc mage stats. I don't know the exact stats because I don't have an orc Feoh.
Orc has both low Int and low Wit, which makes it the worst wizard (dorf is better because it has somewhat more Int). I know of a few but theoretically, it will output the lowest amount of damage because most of its stast are in MEN which is better for defensive capability than offensive. compare classes:
iunno looks to me like re-introducing racial/class differences just again takes us right back to problem of finding best one and not wanting any others. which I think is an unavoidable flaw of having such diversity. oh well

Okay, I'm a bit confused. So, according to the second link about class diversity. If I'm already awakened as an ISS enchanter, I get to select EITHER iss heirophant, iss doomcryer, iss sword muse, iss spectal dancer or iss dominator? Even though my 3rd class WAS domi and I'm an orc?

No you aren't understanding this correctly.
Upon awakening on your main class you can thereupon awaken one of your subclasses into whatever that class would Awaken into or you can use a stone of awakening with that subclass to awaken the subclass into something else which would have whatever stats that race would have had if it had awakened into that class.
The only way to change the class your main class awoke into is with one of those really expensive stones you buy with NCoin.
