The Wondrous Cubic can no longer be used repeatedly upon reset time in order to stack its effects.
Removed a stray unused item from the Armor Pack Blessed by Light (A-Grade) item.
Emerald Weapons should now display correctly for users with ATI graphics cards.

The Clan Request Manager NPC sometimes does not add up Individual Request Points correctly.
After the Awakening animation there is a game client crash issue. A user that experiences this should be able to continue playing without issue after logging back in.
does the nc store update mean that the destiny/adventurer/explorer packs get changed too ?
No, those are not being changed with this particular store update. Generally we post a little reminder before things like that are changed.
So what's going on with the game guard issue? Is that being ignored or what?
^- This, Don't really enjoy having to open 20 l2 clients then deal with it crashing 5 minutes later to open another 20 clients again afterwards.... never mind the constant internet pop ups game guards spawns...

It is not being ignored. The maintenance notice explains that all major issues that started with Glory Days are still being looked into. We will post when we have more info on that.

Yes! Once the website maintenance is over it should be possible for you to purchase a server transfer ticket. The first batch of actual transfers will be processed the following week, on November 14.
Sace has any idea if this memorable event with so many bots something happens? because then the server is already getting bad so many bots online absurd prices and players who do not use do not have to buy items easy. would like a response.

@Sace: Any way they are going to fix that useless piece of resource drainer called GameGuard? So we can log in multiple clients? Since it's not to blame peoples different setups, since a lot of people having troubles with it. And something went wrong with it last update. and mainly it is a server side problem i would guess. and not client sided, since sometimes you can open up fine, and after retrying tio seams some packages get through and you get a secondary client up.

if i remember correctly, the gameguard problems didn't start with glory days, the problems started with 1-2 emergency patches AFTER the glory days update.
a source from the korean gameguard guys (which i cannot post because of forum rules) told me that (sorry for bad translation) gameguard appears to be stuck in a mode where it recognizes itself as not being updated properly but got some sort of data thats telling it actually is. i hope this helps...

I invite you to search a bit on this forum how NCWest works. NCWest is just the producer of the game on the NA territory. To put it very simply, they got everything from Korea and put them online on NA server.

I don't box (I use 1 computer per client, thank you) and I cannot log in one game client without GG erroring out 1 minute after appearing in game. I haven't been able to log in for a week now, period. I don't have all day to chain launch L2 clients. You people act like this is WordPad and launches in 1 minute. Launching 20 L2 clients is a 10-15 minute ordeal depending on your PC, and everytime your computer errors you have to do it again. Are you freaking kidding me? I don't have that kind of time to try to play a game. After the 3rd or 4th attempt I've already started looking for alternative means of entertainment. I actually have a life outside of the game, though.

Then again, reading some of the information others have been peddling on the forums, I can see why you're quite confused on the issues.

As of today server transfer tickets can be purchased once again.That means the first batch of actual transfers will be processed on November 14, as explained earlier in this thread. If you've already applied a ticket but the transfer hasn't been processed yet, it will be processed on November 14.

I'm afraid I don't have much news to share. There are still some issues for some players with single-client games, and the separate issue with multiple clients persists. We've been working with GameGuard folks as well as the usual NCSOFT developers to get fixes for these, but I don't have any news yet on what fixes will come when. That's pretty much the same state of things as our last comments about it days ago; once there is something new to share we will post about it.

I wonder what is the gameguard. the server is blocked bots. and normal people can not play through it. bots and so excludes the GameGuard so what is it?
well it certainly isn't a cheat prevention tool if GC is any indication. It would take two minutes for a GM to swing by upper or lower and see that GG is not doing its job. Yea yea i know no one levels there anymore but its a great place to see some epic botting.

Many other players have been able to get into the game without issue, so it's definitely not an exclusively server-side issue. Please try doing a Repair if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, the support team can help you get through the issue and into the game as fast as possible.

Gameguard is a program or service if u will, that blocks/encrypts the memory used by lineage, and other games using it. It also blocks some function calls to DirectX making it harder for 3rd program to ***** information from the lineage client.
To my knowledge gameguard it self does not detect 3rd programs active, but could be possible it will report violations to the memory arears its trying to protect. But as we can see, its either really easy to bypass or dont work at all, with the waves of illigal 3rd party programs on market.
I would like that aswell, but i fear we wont ever get a precise answer.
First of all couse they wanna protect any business strategies it covers, but also, and i fear this, that the behavior is on the boarder to being illigal in the arears of privacy invasion and illigal datamining. At no point have we accepted installation of this program, and its not covered by the eula for lineage. But it is a must to run the game.

From what I've heard it's possible to log out infected and keep infecting an alt of yours back and forth so that you have two infected chars forever which then can infect others.
I deleted the L2.bin file and spent a lot of time downloading it all again and it seemed to fix the problem for the second client not working. I was able to three box. I had done consistency checks,reinstalled GG among numerous things.
I'd also like to say that this is not the fault of players or their game files. This is an NCSoft thing and you need to figure this out and get crap straight. You KNEW people would ask about this problem.

SACE: I have the problem on both my main PC and Laptop. I unsintalled L2 from both, did a clean install on both, deactivated my firewall and anti-virus on both and guess what....

Reliable workaround for most people:
reboot
delete GameGuard directory
start one client
when in login screen successfully start the second client
If it works you are golden if it doesn't repeat from step one until it works.
Too bad I can't log in, I'd give it to you. Maybe when you stop riding NCSoft, you'll get rich in game...
I'm already rich...but I'm also extremely greedy being.
Been running multiple accounts since before it was F2P.
I haven't changed any settings, hardware, network settings, firewalls(don't use), antivirus(don't use).
So I firmly believe that these Gameguard issues are something that has been changed on either their end or Lineage 2s end.
I would like to see a new official post section added. Call it whatever you want but one the deals with Buggy issues and problems of a game running nature. Not tech issues. That forum is for client side issues. This issue is a host based issue weather it is NCSoft or GG's issue is for you guys to work out.
Moderate this forum with an official L2 representative.
Meanwhile roll back whatever was changed so we can play. (Or have Gameguard do it)

Responses have been given to many GameGuard threads and topics: we are aware of the multiple client issues and we are working on fixing it. The Game Suggestions forum is the proper place for posting game-change ideas. The Site/Forum Issues section is the proper place for suggestions, questions, and comments about the site and forums, so your suggestion for a new forum section would fit well there, however I can answer right away that there will not be a new forum section for server-side game bugs for many reasons. When there are severe issues (even if only for a few users) we post official responses as necessary and give updates when possible. If you have more questions about this please PM me, but otherwise post topics in their respective forum sections or already-existing threads. :)
