Hello i have been playing on older clients and i decided to start in GOD. I used to play spellsinger and i was pleased with the high cast speed and M.crit rate.Is it the same for Elf feoh wizzards?. I've heard that they are seriously nerfed and D.Elves are the overpowered ones. Any ideas?
well i am an elf feo, and my opinion is that it all depends on how much adena you can spend in game. from what i've been listening d.elf dye setup is +10 int,+5 wit for better balance , at least some feo's i know did that.
an elf wiz doesn't need that,+15 int is just fine
elf's have a lot more m.def cause of the higher men, and better crit rate..the casting is rlly not that much different cause of the "soft cap" in 1500 (i think)
..i believe that you can reach a d.elfs m.attack..by enchanting you weapon /armor etc, there are many ways to increase m.attack, but not many ways to increase crit rate
i am pretty sure many will disagree but ok :)
I haven't seen a dark elf feoh do anything more than an elf. I had more trouble with kamael feohs since these come from soulhound and know how to use the class more properly. (blinks) I'ts actually easier to kite with an ELF cause of the caped cast speed, easier to finish spell cast to blink right after.
Like when i first hear "OMG dark elf wynn is the best" and yet the most powerful wynns ive seen are in fact...elves.
In the end, you just need to think how OP it actually is, just because more than half play it...doesn't make it OP.
If u PVE and hit mobs, u won't see much difference with any class, too many things depend on gear. The damage output is more or less the same.
If u PVP, crits are what counts (especially vs healers). But again, u can balance any stat with gear, dyes and subclass skills. So unless u want to boost a spesific skill to the max (like m.att, crit. rate,...) the best way to pick a class is the sum of each one's stats. For example WIT+INT or WIT+INT+MEN or even WIT+INT+MEN+CON.
Wynn Summoner is different. They have different stat priorities and the class itself is more focused on defenses than a Feoh is. Why a light elf makes a better Wynn is completely different than why a Dark Elf makes a better Feoh, and they still do make better Feohs.
It takes 1 run through Kartia 85 after awakening to learn how to use Blinks correctly. It's not a hard concept to grasp.
Pre-GoD Soul Hounds had their own OP mechanic that they relied on to be successful.
