Hi mates , I started to use battleping to reduce lag ;but is there any other way to reduce lag too ? ( I learned that L2 eu server relocated to USA which makes lags... It doesn't make any sense realy- we are from EU ;but our server is at USA !!! )
At one website I read that " latency optimizer " helps to reduce lineage 2 lag too, dramatically. Is that true ? or is there any other way to reduce it ?
Please help ;and inform me mates. I want to play lineage 2 without lags. I have a nice desktop too ( h9-1100et desktop ).

That is because there actually is a company offering L2 for european players, so our old euro servers (like Naia) here are no longer the "official" servers for europe - so they were moved to the US.
As for the lag - I don't know, I am playing from Germany, and I usually have no real lag, even without battleping etc. Guess it's an ISP problem, and if your ISP sucks, there's not much you can do (except move somewhere else).
With Battleping you can reduce a typical US ping to a typical Europe ping as far as this game is concerned. That means going from a almost one second click-to-walk time to a under half a second click-to-walk time. It might not seem like much but it's very noticeable when you actually try it out.
However if your ISP sucks in the first place having Battleping will not be able to do much good.
If your ISP doesn't suck you should select one of the Texas servers in Battleping for an optimal connection to Lineage.
If your ISP does suck you should try to select any server they offer that is as close as possible to you and try them all out to see if you get better results with some than with others. It's a matter of luck then. You could then reduce the ping from your horrible ISP default to something more in the range of a normal US ping with this method.
P.S.: At the moment there is a server-side problem with lag, so don't get fooled trying to fix a problem that isn't on your side!
