In Korea, but in NA probably 1 year after korean release.
What? I was not addressing NA release date. Why you are primarily prioritizing the NA release date, I have no clue. That's not how it works in the L2 universe around here. Newbie.

When I said "arrives here" I meant the release date in NA.
For a person who lives in west, what really matters is the release date in west, because you can't play on korean servers.
You have no clue where my focus is along with other LII veterans when it comes to the evolution of Lineage. You are speaking out of line and I suggest that you recognize your place as a pawn which is evident from what you have failed to acknowledge thus far. The foundation of Lineage evolution begins in Korea. That is the focus. I suggest that you cease misguiding the player community with your carelessness.

So what? I can't just say that it can be released here only in 2015? yes, it would be cool if NC launched its games in east and west on the same day like Blizzard, unfortunately, there is a delay of 6 months - 1 year.
lots of lin1 players moved over to lin2? Other than the style of play, is the rest pretty much the same, like is there a fire valley, giran, etc? I guess I should do some reading up eh!

Dragon Valley and Giran, yes. The Town of Aden too! Lol...

Both maps in L1 and L2 have similarities and differences, because they obey the background time/lore(L2 is 200 years before L1). There are places in L2 that no longer exist in the future.

You will find a lot of similarities in Item/Mob/Location names Lin2 is actually a prequal to Lineage 1.
A lot of L1 Players came to L2, back when it was still Pay to Play and L1 was closed because they offered incentives for L1 Players to move, not sure if many are still around.
Its worth giving it a shot, its free now anyway's no harm in giving it a go. Lineage 3 aka Lineage Eternal wont be out in the foreseeable future everything is just rumoured nothing is confirmed.
As for Zerocool stop trolling the thread. No-one cares what you or the so-called lineage 2 vets are caring about in terms of release dates and korean standards. I played since the Beta Test and I wouldn't give 2 sh*ts when Korea gets things, because they change before we ever get them and we usually get modified versions of everything. If OP doesn't have a problem with given information no need to troll someone trying to help because your bored.

stop being a tool
lol anyways...

It has some similarities, the world I think for the most part is pretty similar. Whether or not you wait for L3 or not I guess is personal preference, I was never a fan of Diablo style games so it doesn't interest me much. Someone else posted on here about it as just using the Lineage name as a sales point, I have to agree.

Lineage Eternal could be released faster if they used a licensed engine(like Unreal 4 or CryEngine 3) instead of developing their own engine from scratch.
Considering that the budget of LE has reached the 60 million dollars mark(the same amount spent in Blade&Soul), they could have licensed one of these next-gen engines because the licensing cost is around 1 million dollars per game, it would have shortened the development time.
zero shut the hell up man, anyhow play l2 since it's free. There is no l3 that was tera, Eternal will be out in a couple years so you might as well have some fun in Aden in the meantime. Id recommend playing L2 until Archeage comes out unless you really love that 2.5d feel of L1 in which case play Eternal when it comes out.

Archeage had everything to bomb, but I got sad when I read about the faction system, there will be 2 or 3 factions, they are enemy, players can't make their own alliances, the only difference between Archeage and other faction games, is that you can kill players of your own faction, but if you do it, you will go to jail for some time, depending on the number of "pks".
I prefer that players make their own allys and enemies like Lineage, but yes compared to other faction games, Archeage does better, much better because you can kill your own faction members.
Regarding Lineage Eternal, the success of the game will depend on how they will implement the world pvp-pk-clan war and world bosses in order to give the same experience as L1-L2:
As I posted in another place, I thought of a mechanic for world pvp-bosses that can work fine:
Well, considering that Lineage Eternal is a non-targeting action MMO that relies on AoE skills, they need to make a proper system for world pvp and world bosses:
1 - World pvp:
- Different from L1 and L2 that use a target mechanic, it's easier to manage the world pvp-pk by targeting the player you want to kill, but it won't work with LE. A good system they can use is an improved version of what we have in TERA:
- The player normally can't hurt-damage any player to avoid that you become pk by accident, so, in order to be able to attack players, you just need to press a certain button once(like TAB for example);
- Once you press TAB, you will be able to attack any player you want, except your party-clan players, because there is no sense in attacking allies, so the only way to attack your party or clan members would be via duel;
- The rest is the same as L1-L2, if you attack a random player, you get a purple name(flagged), if you kill him you can become a pk if the player doesn't fight back(becomes flagged as you);
- Pressing TAB again turns off the hurt-attack player mode;
- Enemy players(a player who belongs to a clan that is at war with yours) can be killed automatically, so you don't need to activate TAB to kill them, it allows you fight enemies wihout bothering about killing a random players(who's not at war with your clan) by accident, making you a pk;
- You won't be able to attack enemy players if they are in party with you(the reason is that koreans are very polite, if they make a random matching party and an enemy is called, they respect him as a party mate while the party lasts), so you need to kick him from the party to kill him.
2 - World bosses:
- With world bosses the same strategy is needed, because if you are killing mobs, and by accident you attack a raid boss, you will be in danger, so normally a player can't attack a boss;
- pressing one button(F12 for examle) will allow you to attack a world boss, and so the raid fight starts;
- pressing F12 again turns off the raid boss attack mode.
I do really like 2d style games, like Lineage1, so that game was perfect for me. It took a long time to get over the closing of that game, and that's why I'm very much looking forward to lineage3.
I can't seem to find another game that compares to lineage1. But in the mean time, maybe lineage2 is the way to go!

Thanks again :)
Yes L2 is a good game while you wait for LE, I hope LE developers really implement a pvp-clan war system close to I said above in order to give us the closest experience we had in L1. Eternal's world pvp/pk and clan war systems will make the game a huge success like L1 if they do it right but it can also be a huge fail if they do it wrong(like TERA online, horrible world pvp-pk systems and bad design, focused on BGs for pvp gear-instances run for pve gear, meaningless clan war in open world, I hope Eternal doesn't follow the failure that TERA is).
