The Kaliel’s Blessing event (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/kaliels-blessing.php) rewards you in many ways! Get rewards just for participating, as well as for hunting, and you can also purchase additional rewards from the lovely event NPC Jolie with event tokens. Enjoy this event for 3 long weeks, from December 12, 2012 to January 2, 2013, to celebrate the winter holiday season and the new year!

I have a question about the buffpots, does it keep your current lvl if you miss popping them at the exact 1h time? For example, are u supposed to pop them before your current buff expires (like every 59 mins), or if u misstime and pop the next one 1min after the previous one expired you lose all your accumulated levels.

Important: In order to receive any tokens or rewards from this event, your character must have the Kaliel’s Wish buff active. If the server is restarted, the event begins 30 minutes after the restart. After the event begins, all players are flagged as ‘eligible’ to receive rewards without the Kaliel’s Wish buff active for 1 hour. After that 1 hour has passed, only characters with the Kaliel’s Wish buff active are eligible for rewards.

The Kaliel’s Wish buff is only for Awakened Characters(from what I can tell)... does this mean that unawakened Characters are eligible for first hour, or it is still limited to main class Awakened Characters?

Also does server restart mean whole server or does NPC server restart alone cause event to begin after 30 minutes?

Your current progress through the different Kaliel’s Blessing event stages (up to 31). The stage can continue to rise as you hunt as long as Kaliel does not send her blessing. When Kaliel does send her blessing, eligible players are rewarded, and the stage progress is reset to 1.Referring to the orange part:
Is the progress bar character based? So it means that I can keep hunting mobs until I raise the bar level to the stage I'm interested in, then use Kaliel's Wish and be eligible for the "Top Reward"? Because...

I think the stage lvl only ups while you have the wish buff up, which is why I asked about the buffpots ><

What determines the rate of leveling the stages (i.e. exp gained, mob kill counts, etc)?

I also wonder if the stage progresses even if you're an instance (like Kartia for example or let's say using the Kaliel Wish before killing Istina/Octavis).

Event that has no santa's hat?

Like me, there are many other players who started playing in the celebration of the eighth anniversary ... and will be my first Christmas without a hat?

Hum, some parts are not clear for me :(

1 - Does your level in the event reset when you relog ?

2 - Basically I can just xp, and I will get a reward per mail right if I am lucky ?

3 - Does the amount to go up on stage is related to the character level ? I.e. is it easy for level 99 to reach level 31 when lvl 85 players will be stuck in level 3 - 4 ?

4 - Does the stage goes quicker if you have vitality ?

5 - Kaliel gives her blessing each 3 minutes. So I can see that as a race to rush stage 31 in 3 minutes ? :D

So for example, the 2nd picture on the webpage tells that each 3 minute, Kaliel's will give random top-reward, but everyone will get at last a Kaliel's Token right ? So I could get like 20 tokens / hour if I don't miss them

If u read it more carefully, u will see that without the buff on, you can't rise the bar's level stage (I mean that without the buff, nothing will happen to you). You must have the buff on while hunting to rise the level of the bar, and Kaliel will bless MOST OF those who have the buff on every 3 minutes. If you get blessed by Kaliel, your level will be reset to 1 ^^ So, you should hope that you WON'T get blessed in order to keep rising your level. But there is a HIGH chance of being blessed. I'm wondering how many ppl can reach lv30 =)) It's extremely difficult ^^ and absolutely depends on luck ^^

Well, It sounds to interesting, what we have to try out for sure.

Blessed R99 scroll, Tauti Ring, Legendary STR dyes x30, P. Atk Pendant, Legendary CON dyes x 30, Talisman of Logging, are my wishes from this event:).

But I will use happily the Kaliel's training scrolls and the Kaliel's Soul Bottle Box too:).

After all I guess Draecke has right, that He did give up this question to the NCwest.

The Naia server is really laggy nowadays and the Chronos too as I hear, might be in the upcoming weeks will comes to play more players with higher activity.

So, the NC really should makes some cleaning in this week or on the next one!

You still don't get the fact that Kaliel's Blessing was, originally, NOT meant to be a Christmas event.

Some questions:

How it is based in the party status?

Those items like determined per stages, the "top ranking ones" will be for who exactly? I mean, for 1 member of a party that is farming and raising stages or for just 1 person in server depending of the lvl of the stage that he/she is in that moment?

3- This Legendary dyes, we are talking about 1 dye unit or 10? (ready to make a symbol)

This is what i understand from the event description :
* 1st - U'll be able 3-5 hours to participate in event : "In order to receive any tokens or rewards from this event, your character must have the Kaliel’s Wish buff active. Having the buff active also makes you eligible to randomly receive a Top Rank prize according to your stage progress."
Sp U get Kaliel’s Wish Pouch from NPC thast give U3x Kaliel’s Wish/day = 3 hours and u can get another 2x Kaliel’s Wish by hunting mobs = 5 hours/day ....alo u can buy 1x Kaliel’s Wish if U have enough tokens (30 tokens) .
* To recive reward u have to hunt mobs: "With the Kaliel’s Wish buff active, go hunting to maximize your chances of receiving rewards!" / As you hunt monsters and gain XP, your progress through the 31 stages of the Kaliel’s Blessing event rises. "
* Not all players get the reward listed there...only tokens are 100% given

So as you can see...according with Reward for All there are only tokens...so u'll get a number of tokens according with your stage (100%) ... and just one player ( that i understand with "one of these lucky char") will recive the Top Rank Reward ... So even if u succed to make stage 31 u can be unluky and get only that 100 tokens and no Tauti's ring .
These make me fell sand...I know that there'll be a lot of ppl in event at same time ....500 get tokens and just 1 get top reward :mad: .
* Almost imposible to reach stage 31 .event doesen't run yet...so IDK how fast will our stage rise by hunting mobs/min ...but at each 3 min u have the chance to start from stage 1...afther 3 min ...ppl who get hitted by that Kaliel’s Blessing get theyr reward/top reward ... i bet that is a 95% chance to get the blessing afther that 3 min :(....
- What's the chance to get Top Reward according with your stage ...let's say that there are 1000 ppl at stage 5 ... wich 1 will get the top reward.

Now as soon as there is 0,01% chance to get a top reward ..ppl will resume just at get tokens and buy Kaliel’s Soul Box/Kaliel’s Gift Box ...I don't think that any1 will buy 1h+ of event for 30 tokens .
Also is there the chance to rise stage faster if you are hunting in party/alone ?
Now every1 hope that there is few ppl when he decide to run his 3-5 hours event.
Also prepare SoA/H3/Orbis/GoG/Fairy 3-5 hours event partyes :D

This is a very nice event for the RMT people. They will make lots of adena from this.

Also all the stand up guys and gals that buy from them will be overjoyed since adena should go down to $5.00 per 110 million.

And the legits will be crying since weapon and armor prices will go up to reflect the devaluation of the adena.

But like Sace once pointed out she loves to see those tears.

Don't think it will be as bad as tersi, as far as i can tell u must be EXPing to be eligable. Also, must have the buff on you. You only get 3 buff pots x1hour free then must buy the others at 30x Tokens.

As far as I could tell thats how it works.

Yes, you are correct. You also must be level 85 to participate unlike the Tersi's Light event/Memorable Raid Boss event where level 1 players could participate.

5. You have a chance to receive the item every 3 minutes. You have to click on "obtain tokens" to receive the tokens you earn.
6. All the rewards are the same as they were in Korea. The only difference we made to the event was changing the level cap on using Kaliel's Wishes to awakened only (lvl 85+) instead of level 40.

No, you do not have to XP to be eligible to receive the rewards. However, you get more wish potions if you hunt.

This is going to be a very long and crappy week with this event if these servers keep crashing every 6 minutes. Typical that the servers have known (to everyone that plays and maybe not to NC Soft) lag issues and now to make it worse let NC add another reward NPC that is on a timer to compound the issue. I really hope NC fixes these crash issues fast. I hope NC fixes the lag issues fast. I especially hope and all I would really like for Christmas is for NC to remove (BAN) some BOTS. They are all over the place and will make this event difficult as it is hard to exp with BOTS all over the place.
I still think in the back of my mind that if NC got rid of bots and cheats (using PVP programs) the servers would probably NOT lag, NOT crash, and more people would actually play and continue to play the game as it will be more enjoyable. No one has fun pvp'ing cheats.

30 min nothing after server on, then 1 hour stages running and, each 3 mins 1 player from all server can win the stage reward, and, all others get the tokens that reward cost, with that tokens u can exchange for boxes on jolie and get randoms rewards, and if u want enter on that 1hour fortune wheel u must get buff from jolie for 30 tokens right?

Pretty sure this event is just broken atm and not to mention ******ed. Takes away the whole point of even really playing the game to obtain certain things when you can just login a bunch of 85's for a few hours a day and pray to the L2 gods that the game breaks like it just did.

TIme for me to log my 14 toons lvl 85 to 99 I have and sit them in town 3hrs per day.

According to lineage2.com there are 3 items that u can purchase with tokens : 1) Kaliel Soulbox ; 2) Kaliel Wish ; 3) Kaliel Giftbox.

While when server was up, the event npc had only soulbox and giftbox as purchaseable items.

It will be fixed with this maintenance or it is ment to be this way.

I was not able to get any token when the server goes up ... just because there is a 30min delay before the event start

Your current progress through the different Kaliel’s Blessing event stages (up to 31). The stage can continue to rise as you hunt as long as Kaliel does not send her blessing. When Kaliel does send her blessing, eligible players are rewarded, and the stage progress is reset to 1.

The Event Level rises as mobs are hunted. Therefore all those that are leeches in town should be excluded imo.

1. I know exactly what I am saying, you don't have a clue how hardware/software works. Ncsoft servers are never filled to capacity, therefore it's not the BOTS that are the problem. It's Software/hardware issue.

2. The more bots that hunt the quicker it levels up so in theory gives more changes to receive higher level rewards. Tokens imo are pretty useless in this event. The reward boxes aren't that great.

3. I don't play on the naia server but why hunt in imperial tomb? or antharas lair, or even swamp of screams, those are all lowbie areas and you should be doing 1-85 fairly quickly, antharas lair does not give that great of exp and is mainly a mage aoe spot, therefore does not affect you.

4. Plain wrong. Get a clue.

Just please throw everyone full epics, and screw Epic PvP & Raids,.... don't think game gonna live to see it on Shilen at this point anyway at the rate the game is being destroyed, and players leaving.

Already got Blessed Antharas, and Valakas every where, Orfen's Soul Ear rings, Earth Wym rings, and most of these have not even died 1 time on the server yet. (I have some of them, and yes I wish I didn't, and no one else did either, UNLESS it actually dropped from the bosses. You know,... really earn it, like your suppose to earn XP which almost comes free like an event also now.)

This is not retail anymore, wish I had never came here, and brought the hundreds from last server who most have just completely quit L2 now, and more continue to quit as they see events like this, and other jokes/crap,.... the private server was more realistic, and competative than this has become. The players opinions mattered atleast to some extent. Atleast the players voices reached the person who controlled the server, game, and how it operated.

The player base is shameful because all the real L2 players have already left, and not sure why I am still here. Just because all my friends are, and we basically destroyed our last server of 5 yrs. by bringing the 3 main clans to retail, and it died, so no going back, feel trapped hahaha. (RIP Dreams / Paradise / Luna.)

Bartz crushed on lvl 20 of event... server went back up, then event shows as not eligible stucked on lvl 20 but the buff timer decreases normally... fix it and plz give playes wish item back.

tauti ring #4 just went out on shilen, this is getting ridiculous and it hasn't even been 24 hours....

Hopefully they take rewards back and fix this event like they did with a bunch of vesper weapons back in the day.

Funny, i didn't know ncsoft have their own timing system. In Portugal 3 min are actually 3 min (some times are 5 ehehehe) but not 3-4h like ncsoft.

I feel like there's no interest in L2 west servers anymore. Even private servers have better control quality then this. Its a bit ridiculous.

I have the same questions, so I await a response.

As I also have two other questions (both with buff kaliel wish activated)

To receive the tokens, you must necessarily be hunting / farming? or may leave the quiet character? (In my case I received 35 tokens with my char literally stopped in main town)

And the other question is: In order to receive the top rank rewards listed, I must necessarily be hunting / farming? (I have not had the luck to get something, but I heard rumors of players so "parked" with their characters, with the buff on, and managed such awards).

Some people do play their mains on laptops with 1366*768 resolution (not me, but I do box a buffer on a laptop with that resolution). Not everyone feels the need to pay for a new PC for this game. It's not worth that.

At that resolution, the box does take up a bit of space. It's almost as big as the map, which should be collapsable itself, IMO.

Can add Chronos to the list of the bugged Tauti servers! =D

On Megmeld its 3hrs on stage 31. Also the gifts you buy from the tokens have a very low rate of getting anything good.

Yay! shilen stucked again. 31 Lv tauti ring :) Many times saw this reward on interface. I currently not dare to use the wish buff anymore due to the event stucked.. and I already wasted 3 hour buff(after maintenance) and get no token reward.

Means we were stuck on the Tauti ring stage not moving up, not giving to anyone, not resetting, wasting everyone's buff for a couple of hours and then for no apparent reason it decided to give it away and reset the level as if the hours of wait hadn't happened.

Edit: honestly it wouldn't be as bad if you could actually get the extra wish buffs from hunting or from trading the tokens, but since you can't and you're stuck with 3 hours a day, it's kinda maddening ><

suggestion: rollback bring down for 24hours the server look carefull what is going wrong

I dont know why it gets stuck at level 31, but im telling yaaa right now this is NOT GOOD FOR THE SERVERs. Tauti is one of the rarest epic jewels and it takes a lot of people a lot of time and effort to accomplish that raid.

Currently on bartz three, COUNT'em, 3 have been given out. This is only day 1 of the event and there is already 3!?, ARE YOU SERIOUS? There should only be 3 tauti's spread between all the servers for the entire duration of this event. Such the case similar to earth wyrm ring in draco event.

From what I understand each 3 minutes the lady with the huge breasts has a chance to send the blessing but somehow it's now changed to such a low rate that even when it finally reaches level 31 it takes it around one hour and a half to two hours to finally send the blessing making people waste at least one Kaliel’s wish, plus it seems theres no way to buy it (the wish) and it also looks like its hunting part is turned off (even the part where by hunting it raises the level/stage), but I'm sure all this has been said on the original thread.

This server wide progress is the worst idea ever. Now ppl will log 8 -10 accounts at once, stay afk with them till the blessing is given and then claim the rewards. What was wrong with a personal prograss in other words, everybody rise their stage on their own and at a certain period of time the blessing is givven to all the ppl at the same stage...

About the Tauti ring- it's pointless to keep it if you're NOT lvl 99. This server wide progress is the worst idea ever. Now ppl will log 8 -10 accounts at once, stay afk with them till the blessing is given and then claim the rewards. What was wrong with a personal prograss in other words, everybody rise their stage on their own and at a certain period of time the blessing is givven to all the ppl at the same stage...

At each given moment in the AH on Naia there are at least 3 jewels from the instanced epics, so kkep talking to me there's no price drop. And other example - what happened to the pendants with the RB event? STR pentant from 2bils came down to 400kk. DEX from 1.2bills now is 150kk.. yeah there certainly isn't a price drop ...

it's really good event, you just log and do your stuff. 3h day and you can make ~100kk just from nothing. yes there is many people who stay online. but this is better than tersil lights event or something like this when GoD was launched :D
100500+ 1lvl toons in all towns, server full almost all day. was hard to login from ~13h till midnight.. so make event for 85+ peoples is good idea.
and for rewards. well.. don't be jealous.. somebody win somebody spent their money for that ring.. i don't care. :) ofc would be better if me or my clannie get that ring, but this is just a game. :)

I know.. max I was able to farm.. for several times.. was about 2-3b.. with plvl(when I was DN), olympiad results, etc :)

My current set cost me about 1.5-2b to make.. and about 6months. Vesp Noble +44433 15*120.. and will use it at least until 95... so it's paid for.

use that buff scroll.. w/o that scroll you can't get rewards. its 3h / day event for 1 char :)

I think i ll just start to ignore this event due to it is just annoying, knowing how wierd it has been made to work...

on magmeld NPc doesn't sell wish for 30 tokens :( and also can't obtain 2 from hunting.

Worst event ever is the most stupid event.... U can check bots log and unlog allways,the extra wishs are not working at all. Really start to thing devs need new and fresh ideas....

Ok. Event is not bugged because the xtra items. But its bugged cause its "drop" rate regarding the 1rst prize stages is so false.

You know it wrong... 28-31 for example is made for 3 mins all of them, rather the other is moving pretty slowly. And what is the meaning of having that event buff popped up if you're actually doing nothing in order the event to progress? Just to be lucky is kinda "go play lotto" answer for me... Making server heavy for being smart is unfair, yes :P

Kaliel’s Hourglass XP 50% rune will disapear also at 2nd of January? Cuz on the scroll for characters below lvl 90 is information that item will disapear, but on the rune there is no info about that.

this event is bugged again. I have wasted 2 wishes. this is the 2nd time this has happen on Cronus. The counter stops at stage 31. i have xp about a few hour now with the event counter even moving to 20% is there going to be any refunds on my two wishes?

Same thing on naia.. Almost every time stops at 31lv about 30mins~ till some noob take the reward. Also I don't like the idea that 31lv stage comes so often,I imagined something like it will be almost impossible.. But as far as I see know I dare to say after 3weeks. I think this event it should be work like this.

We(server) as a group must go and farm to raise the event bar and from time to time(3min if i understood corectly) someone from the server will win the top prize, we all win the tokens and the bar resets.

The bar level must be raised as the whole server farming capability. If we can raise it in 3minutes till 31 then someone will get rearded with tauti ring. If we manage to raise it till lvl 5 for example then someone will receive the top prize for that lvl.

The problem is with those 3minutes time when the bar should reset.

Just my personal oppinions i don't complain if others will win something. This is ******ed. Is just an event in a game lol and you win some pixels.

PS: The event will be till 21.12.2012 anyway :))

It is not bugged. Counter stops naturally, 'cause 31 is max lvl. Then we just have to wait 'till someone gets Tauti ring. It can be 3 mins or 3 hours, random time.

I guess i lost two hour buff~ :D Phew, good thing is that no need to keep on wait for top reward gifted for token. Time to have a rest ;)
