It was not straight away... server is up 1 hour already! May be i had to w8 2 hours, go istina and failed it as well?
Is it just me or is the server status page a bit unresponsive? I timed 5 minutes after chronos went down and the page didn't update as described on said page. I miss chronos.kaifas.it :(
Yes these are not crashes but the team taking the servers down as soon as they notice any bug with the event. Before chronos went down the first time everyone was a member of the event without the buff and it climbed up faster then every 3 mins lol. Now its down again so something else must not be working and I guess same with Naia/Shillen

The event was tested and there were no issues found with it. We are investigating the cause for the crashes now. I'll keep you guys updated.

This so reminds me of last year where I didn't (couldn't) log while they had that silly event for the RMT guys. Our clan fell apart because nobody could log.
Actually I agree with him, for their GM staff consisting of only 2 actives Sace/Juji they are doing a good job maintaining the Forums/Game for what they have to work with. If their staff was bigger, then I might agree with you. Unfortunately they don't have a say over that.

Unfortunately NCWest does not have a 'dev' team, they will not be working from source code, not because they dont want one, because Korea wants to have Monopoly control over their product. They will have IT etc who run/manage the server/server files and have minute control over them.
- Korea sends translated Event Package to NC West along with documentation.
- NCWest reads up, implements on test server and gives it a go (Unfortunately cant calculate all possible events with 6k plus players/bots on a server
- Something goes wrong, NCWest tries to Isolate, if something they cant fix easily with settings etc, if not must send ticket to Korea, and postpone event
- Fix'd package gets sent back
From what we've been told about how things work on the NA Side that's roughly what would happen.
EDIT: Naia seems to be stablizing even with Normal players, so they might of found something :P
@Juji & Sace : I suggest to run a PTS open all the time where you runs the event before going them on live. Except if you can log yourselves 2000 boxes and test server stability
Just remove this crappy event ! 2nd time i got to kartia raid boss and server down ...REMOVE event and fix it and add it fixed ...
how about they remove the instances? stupid things ruined the social aspect of this game and dont tell me you socialize in the pug groups because most times in pugs im too annoyed by people that cant play to enjoy talking to them.
And stop trying to do kartia while this stuff is going on, its kinda your own fault on this one.
Maintenace of = server up 30 min and down ... up 15 min and down ... up 2 min and now again down...is funny while I try to make DQ at Spicula generators...idk if is a bug or no..but everytime server go down or u get dc the number of generators reset to 0...1st i had 4..when serv up i had 0 ...made 3 and server down...relog made 2 generators and server down again...:eek: can u let the server up 20 min to make that 5 gen and finish quest :))

P.S. Dear NCSoft (Santa) please delete the event, it obviously is causing more problems than it is worth. In return please give everyone +50% XP Santa Hats that will last for the duration of the event at which time the 50% portion disappears and I am once again stuck with another Santa hat. why always blame bots for lags ? It is not that I am defending the bots ;but The main problem causing by NCSOFT servers itself ;and ncsoft doesn't fix it !!!.
So, Ask it yourself before blaming bots... : "Why there is no lag at guild wars 2 ;or at Rift online ? or at Aion ? or at WoW ? or at Tera Online ? ( tera / gw / aion / rift online game engine much more better than lineage 2 engine now too )
Therefore , at these mmo(s) do you really think that there are less players than lineage 2 now ? The answer is no ; it is the opposite -at these mmo(s) they have more players than lineage 2 now. I played all these mmo (s) so I know there is no such big lags which caused by servers itself at these mmo(s)
Shortly ncsoft doesn't care lineage 2 players anymore after free to play ( we can see it from these non-stop server lags... ) THX.
