Gear priority

Yul Archer Started Last reply 6 posts
Hey after using the search function I'm still have some questions on gear priority. I recently came back and after awakening a tyrr warrior I changed my mind to make a yul archer. The question is how I spend my money. I've read that armor then bow with ele upgrades is pretty standard for development. I was wondering if I should try and buy a couple low end boss jewels and use the diploma gear until I upgrade to apoc around 90.

I have roughly 750kk from leveling, buying , reselling and some luck with the event. I was thinking of trying to find a Queen Ant for 500kk and frint or continuing saving for Zaken. Then I could use the Toi Ring and low end boss jewels and attempt to OE them. Would the damage I lose from using Requiem cause painfully slow leveling? Also the ability to swap the jewels between characters seems alluring. The high end jewels are well out of my reach but I always wanted boss jewels when I used to play. Should I just skip them for apoc?
if you have that much adenas so you can buy apo crossbow which it have a little bit more p.atk as req bow.
(and you forget later that you can use bow and you will still to use crossbow)

and priority for archers is still weapon, you can stay away from mobs w/o any obtain damages.
If you have 750kk get any apo bow +4 SA and 300 element. Boss jewels no be usefull at start game.
I've always set priority on getting the best weapon possible first.

Then get SA (or double SA) for weapon.

Then get element stones for weapon. At least to 150.

Then get weapon to +4 (so you need weapon enchants and an enchant luck stone, if you're afraid to try +4 unaided. If you're really scared, then a blessed weapon scroll or a destruction weapon scroll is your only choice -- but both are very pricey at R grade).

Then get armor. Immortal from the mentor guide will do. Frankly, Vorpal from Path of Awakening can take you to 87 on some classes.

After armor, then it's your choice to try for dyes, pendants, and other modifications to customize and enhance your character.

At some point Boss Jewels probably come into play, but you don't really need them when you first Awaken. Just use the Queen Ant that you get from the Path of Awakening for 30 days. Or save it for one of your lower level alts. Not that you really need it.
Well my strategy is : first buy armor , full elemented it then buy weapon .
Went with Apoc bow. +4 didnt break, then ELE/SA Damage first because of the higher p.atk when Damage is SA'd first. Immo Chest/legs +4. Then twilight off pieces. Pretty happy with my damage :D. With Warrior's Critting for around 60k on Pinpoint.
