I really miss the Christmas Tree event ... QQ
(I don't count Kaliel's Blessing as a christmas event)

Korea didn't have one with this patch either.
You don't have to buy the stuff.
I however enjoy my Rudolph agathion and it's buff. I also enjoy my santa girl cloak and santa outfit :)

Have you not looked around you at all in the last few weeks? Almost every company uses the "Christmas Spirit" to make money this time of year... consumer company's become profitable during these last few weeks of the year, reality of our world sucks when you grow up.

Not everybody celebrate the Christmas on our servers, so I guess isn't necessary to make kind of big parade for it.
Normally you celebrate the Christmas, because on this day born Jesus and you celebrate him.
The Christmas feeling, family dinner, gifts etc just the business of the modern life.

Actually Jesus wasn't born anywhere around December. They moved Christmas to coincide with the pagan holiday. We still bring Christmas trees into our house because they used to believe that it helped preserve nature or something like that by having a tree not out in the cold? I don't remember exactly.. but look it up. It is kind of interesting.
No event this year, you can pay for a Santa hat etc with ncoin if you want to spend money. They also removed windows 8 users from the game for Christmas, never seen anything like this before from a gaming company around Christmas.

Well, may I'm wrong in it, I'm not Christian, but when I hear about Christmas and December etc it is always about, birthday of Jesus.
But yes maybe in the different areas are exist different tradition about the Christmas and Santa Claus and Holiday.
i am sorry but to be honest u call this a x-mass event just for donators? ordinary people cant at least have the crismass tree like last year?
cant we have santa clots and santa hat to get it somehow except donatig ? realy ncsoft is so desperate then l2 become donators have all the funny items? i dont find it fair i was expect at least the x-mass tree
It is really sad to say the least...i have played L2 since 6-13-2004 and every year except this one...there has been some type of event that ya didnt have to pay for...towns were decorated with lights and ornaments...Nope not this year....all NC Cares about is how much money we are going to line their pockets with. I wish i didnt have so many friends here cuz this game has gone to hell in a handbasket :(
That;s cos you can't see the developers' point ;) . They think "oooooh it's Goddess of DESTRUCTION. The L2 world may come to its' end with Shillien's aweking. Ppl won't have any x-mas spirit. There will be only dispiration and suffering, so no x-mas this year. Not until you stop Shillien from her awaking tries". And that's why there are no x-mas trees, no lights, no decorations.
